We have Crimson King running in Race 3. He has had a bit of a setback since his last run, and this is a come-on run over a trip that is short of his best. I was disappointed that he did not win last time, as he was by far best weighted, and the form of the winner and the third horse in their subsequent runs confirms that he ran well below his rating even though he finished second.
Its a small but competitive field, and he draws widest which does not help. I hope to see him running on and would be very happy if he could place in this lineup.
Laguna Verde, Tipsy Tarragon, Dancetilldaylight, Raffles and Mrs Browning are all in with a shout at the weights.

Think they were caught napping (as most of us) - one of 'them' results - on form one could not give him much of chance - especially against these - only way to survive the P6 would be taking the field

Why you deserting African Torrent today? The 2450m did look like it could potentilly be too far for him when you fancied him in the Derby and he had a tough task at the weights there anyway. Previous run he cruised up to them 400m out, but failed to finish off his run in his 1st race after gelding. 2000m may have been a touch too far, or he may just have needed it. 1800m looks his chop and he showed in his run behind Billy Bowlegs where he was 15 pts out at the weights, that he certainly isn't overrated off a mark of 85.
I respect American Biscuit.

JAP - I don't like horses coming back after what should have been a peak run - but yes if he is back to his best he certainly seems well in here
