ANC Policy Conference
2 years 10 months ago
I see this is being held at the Big T. I wonder what 4Q are charging the ANC for the use of the facility? My guess would be the brown noses have given it for free. There isn't a moral bone amongst the whole lot of them.

Think the conference is at Nasrec?
Don't want to get political but can't help it with the current situation.
This "step aside" law is a major concern and if its changed it will basically say that the ANC supports the corruption and theft to continue.
I heard an interesting point this morning.
The Cyril supporters are basically want to keep the "stand aside" rule.
However if the farm money story does get exposed it would mean that Cyril would have to "step aside".
Interesting times with this bunch not to mention the other chaos they have caused.
Hopefully they just totally implode with internal politics and the PEOPLE vote them out .

I assume '4Q' has a 'media liaison' person - would be interesting to find out ?
Ito the conference, I see some journalists are suggesting that the one big topic to overshadow the conference, will be the 'stand-aside' issue - if correct, it just shows that the ANC has really not learnt anything - off the top of my head, I could find at least 5 other topics of more importance to discuss - although they will probably say this is a 'policy conference' - so need to discuss the elephants in the room - like power outages, Zuma matters, etc, etc. Rather talk about the potential issue that may come to the fore, should the leader be put in the position to 'stand-aside' due to the Ramaphosa-gate issue

Dave and me posted at the same time - basically saying the same thing - what's that story about 'great minds'
Just to point out that the step-aside rule can be interpreted in a few ways - depending on which party you would like to 'step-aside'

Cyril the Squirrel must go at the next elective conference...bring on the next Thief in Chief...
The "step aside" "rule" is a joke as you have to be charged before it supposedly comes into effect...at the very least, at face value, Cyril the Squirrel is non-compliant with FICA and Reserve Bank requirements but he will not be charged...but Ace charged, Zweli charged...merely used as a tool to reduce potential challengers...
The good people of this country collectively survived 48 years of apartheid and we will definitely survive about 30 years of ANC misrule...yes, there will be uncertainty and instability but fear of those unknowns must not stop us moving forward to a time when good people, of whatever hue and political persuasion, come to the fore to do things largely for the collective good rather than personal enrichment as is currently the norm...

4Q and ANC β a match made in heaven β neither could save themselves from themselves β both devoid of accountability and a basic understanding of the job at hand β delusions of grandeur for these majestic self-serving creatures that are a law unto themselves.
ANC policies are irrelevant for a shrinking minority party with no moral compass β ANC cadres will be changing colours soon when they realise that they donβt have a ticket to feed shamelessly at the public trough and no influence on the purse strings.

I think big difference between 4 Racing and ANC - ANC took something that thought not perfect, was working and broke it down to junk level. 4 Racing took over Junk(they watched it break down and did nothing) and are trying to turn it around - I'm not sure they can but at least they are keeping the lights on for awhile whereas the ANC are trying their best to turn all lights off. But both organisations have legacy members that are it for them selves and need hoofing.

I think they at Nasrec.
I look at all these conferences as the ANC' farewell tour for and to its members and party agents. Like the final world tour of a once great music band now heading into retirement and history.

Would be great Sly but they were never great at anything.
Band on the Run more appropriate
