Fancy the double :-
R2) Royal Aussie x (R6) Double Charge
R2) Royal Aussie x (R6) Double Charge
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Russian Taiga
Distance: 1100m
Comments: Very green on debut, will need the experience.
Defining Moment
Distance: 1200m
Comments: Ran on very impressively on debut and had positive reports. She could have improved enough this time to have an each way chance.
Fun Zone
Distance: 1200m
Comments: Ready to win her maiden and she will have a good each way chance here. Hard to split our two, both should be right there.
Perilla
Distance: 1400m
Comments: She is improving with every run and has each way claims again.
Just Power
Distance: 1600m
Comments: She did all but win last time from the tail, and if ridden similarly again she must be a big runner. Good each way chance !
Costa Smeralda
Distance: 1600m
Comments: Big runner off bottom weight with a repeat of her last run. Not the best draw though.
Sun Dazed
Distance: 1400m
Comments: He does prefer the straight but is capable over the extra furlong and never far off them. He has been knocking hard on the door for his second win. Include in all bets.
Silent Trigger
Distance: 1400m
Comments: He hasn’t had things go his way in the running of late , but from a good draw he could be the value horse in this race as he is very well.
Sky God
Distance: 1400m
Comments: Needed his last run after a long break , and should show improvement with that run under him.

I really fancy PORT LOUIS today in Race 2.
Comes out of a strong formline and if not in need of the run will be hard to beat

been a flood of money race 3 hierkomdiebokkie 33s into 5s besides kommedieding i have never seen a 1st timer win from that yard. Anyone heard anything? Never seen a horse been backed like that for a while even though it does not take a lot of money to shorten 1st timers like that.

I took some 12s & 8s ew on R3 hierkomdiebokkie, not because I know anything but I noticed that Hollywood priced it up & then kept it way shorter than all the other betting sites.

Most publications shows its dam, only ran once unplaced. Its granddam, Young Sensation, produced Legal Eagle. Further down its lineage is Fair Model. Fair Model ran second in the Guineas to Little Ballerina, that is the last time a filly won the Colts/Geldings Guineas in the Cape. It was trained by Payne, Little Ballerina.
David Payne was involved in a famous coup in the Cape when Kevin Shea was riding, Dehere's Passion and was priced up favorite. It then drifted out when its stable, Millennium Diamond came in for tons of support. Ended up like 5/10 and won.
Another famous coup in the Cape was Golden Khaya. Got backed down at any odds to 5/10 about 10 minutes before the race and duly won. It was trained by JW Macdonald.
Nostalgic memories.
