3 years 4 months agoGood day Gentlemen, I sense a bit of TALLINN in the last. Zackey seems to be the pilot for this one and has a lovely draw on the bend. It has been struggling to get fortunate at the draw lottery since that improved run on the 13th of Jan and at the rating of 68 must be cherry ripe and juicy. Hence a nice EW bet at 5/1 seems appropriate.
7 Tallinn 7.14 6.67 7.14 6.67 5.56 5.00 4.00 3.57 3.03 2.50 2.27 2.00 2.27 2.00
Big money came for it but disappointed

Indeed a disappointment. I guess the key lies in the fact that it is a 5yo, dropped from 71 to 68 and to a lower class and still didn't make it after 40 odd days off training, on Saturday. I didn't see Frodo's post that it ran close on Saturday. My bad, but was assuming it would take its chance from the great draw. You gotta be wide awake with the intentions of these trainers. I guess the 1450 horses were just too strong and on the up. We live to fight another day. My guess is the trainer wants a 67 or a 66 MR before making a final attempt at the right circumstance, these five year olds are on borrowed time.
