Morning Mac you correct about the picture quality and to be fair I was watching Gallop for overseas races with split screen etc.
So 4Racing is OK for just one venue on a big day.

To each his own - I'm not too fussed about picture quality - give me a slick presentation showing me what I want to see and I'm happy - imo yesterday's coverage big improvement - still some glitches, but hopefully sorting those out as we go along.

Btw - what happened to Kommetdiepetition ?

Good question Frodo the place did look rather empty and probably the boxes and function halls were well attended.
Hopefully DJ will post the petition with signatures 😉

now for fun they have added orange and green flashing lights in the top right hand corner of the screen. The Orange lights stay on after horses have been released and the green lights come un before all horses are loaded.

WTF must u do with the lights.

When you listen to the music it is obvious that the target is the non-existent under 30 audience...I found it strange that the music provided for Derby day is one of the least popular for all generations...JAZZ....who came up with that?...How many millions of South Africans listen to Jazz?I wonder when or if ever a Jazz song made it into the top twenty....it seems the head does not know what the feet are doing in this organization..

Just crossed over and a good summary for Aintree with fancies on screen

A massive screen showing R1.00 a win on fav
How are punters expected to take a tote bet 🤔
Have mentioned before rather don't show scroll if they need to hold bets.
Easy to get around 1/3

Very concerned again 😪

Thanks to the Slacks, Savage and his RA Choms (for donating R340m of the RA's stakes pot claim to stuff the industry) an for the 4Q rubbish dished out on Channel 240. A brilliantly executed strategy.

Immediately after the running of Race 4 at the Vaal, C240 stops beaming the pictures of the winning connections leading in the winner to show the viewers the Win and Place dividend trend for Race 1 at FFOS LAS that has 4 runners and as such the Place dividends are 0.00. Most informative and groundbreaking stuff.

Who is the brain dead rocket scientist who conceived this slide??

Firstly, if you knew your customer and you understood your job, you would not present this information without the pool size at the bottom of the screen. Secondly, the Win dividend trend should be collectively tabled together on the LHS of the screen and the Place dividend trend should be collectively tabled together and displayed on the RHS. Thirdly, you do not need to show 2 decimal places, one will suffice.

BRAIN DEAD, INCOMPTNENT OR MORONS? Pick one.

PS. Iso showing the joy of the owners actually leading in their winning horse to promote the sport, we are served BS and furthermore, 4Q wants to play educational ads to attract new punters and owners.

They give a preview of Aintree from Racing TV and then don't show the race .
Molly will probably come on with his tips but nobody knows what they will show ?
