This is all Charlse Savage doing,he employed Stephen Watson.
As the saying goes "IF IT'S NOT BROKEN DON'T TRY AND FIX IT"
Savage was hell bent in 2010 to take over Cape Racing(Purple Capital) with Phindi Khema thank God that failed because Cape Racing would be non existent today, and 4 Racing will go the same way as long as Mary continues to support Savage and Patrick Davis these two idiots will be the downfall of 4 Racing.

Where is Savage and Riley? During lockdown they were Mary's "chosen ones" to rescue us? Savage, Riley and Mary are AWOL as the yanks say! They were all coupled on the tote. Did Riley abandon ship or was we unexpectedly left at the port?
This lot even with their token appointments of a Chair and CEO are lost at sea.
Harry, Bridget and Ernest must be shaking their heads in disbelief that the Oppenheimer name will be responsible for the demise of an industry and the economy built around it.
The ancestors surrounded themselves with the best of breed and wealth creation was par for the course for their dynasty. Not so for Mary and her daughters.

I think 4Racing only broadcast one race for Jebel Ali.
The Jackpot pool still managed to get to 38k and the PA 23k. How you going to grow your pools and take out if you do not show the races.
Galloptv way ahead and shows nearly every race you can bet on.

I am loving 4Q's post-mortem in between each race on a Saturday by Nico / the quatret double float (Andrew Bon) in a 4-horse field. The major racing jurisdictions globally show the previous/prior runs of the runners that they are tipping. This appears to be rational if one want to generate interest /turnover in the upcoming race. Instead, 4Q does the post-mortem (cutting edge stuff of Mary and her little lambs) to kill the industry and embarrass South Africa to the global audiance.
Today, in the post-marten, we were informed that there was not a dry eye on course after an 8 year old mare called Rouge Allure won at 16/1. Are the morticians delusional?
As an informed viewer, we can accept such a comment as being realistic for Racheal Balckmore's winning ride in the Gold Cup at Cheltenham on the favourite. WTF?
The question is - are the viewers the morons that 4Q are convinced are gullible to consume the kak they serve or are we really dealing with a bunch of morons at 4Q?

And there is this, in my humble opinion, insane expectation that punters will pay for a product that doesn't actually have people breaking down the door to get at...
Do everything possible to have maximum access to your product...once you have a captive, stable or gowing audience, then consider charging...

I think this is a bit harsh even given all the obvious problems the 240 channel faces; there are only 30 or 35 minutes between races and then they try to squeeze in other venues - I agree that a preview would be better than post 'analysis' - but this is the purpose of the 'Weighted to Win' inserts - which imo should be done in the morning before racing - and then have a different analyst on track to do previews before each race - he / she would have info available like draw bias and track conditions on the day - have to say that I'm not too sure who from the current lot would be able to do this - maybe Nico in Gauteng

I also agree the reaction was over the top after Rouge Allure's win - but imo it certainly deserved a mention on that achievement

Ok guys I have had a chance on and off for the last 24 hrs to view Gallop tv and to be honest it actually has everything a punter would require.
It is a pity that I can’t watch on box but thank you Mac for sending me a video of your set up with the decoder.
Unfortunately I spend much time away from the flat and ideally enjoy a unit that is portable.
Saying that I am using an iPad and Gallop is a “one shop stop” and I am over the moon with this product from the quality, split screen, fixed odds, the entire product/production is different class to what I have been finding hard to endure the last couple of weeks ..
One happy punter 👍👏
