Re: No More Nadine??
3 years 5 months agoTalk about misinformation. Under who's watch was operation warp speed, the fastest development of a vaccine? The previous fastest was 4 years.
Biden and his cronies were recorded as saying that they do not trust the vaccine, and where unsure whether to take it.
Chew on this. Doctors in the USA have also lost their jobs for not taking the vaccine. These same Dr's were on the Frontline, fighting covid. They chose to lose their jobs, rather than take the Vax. Let that sink in.
I took the Vax. I dont believe that people should be forced to take it.
mRNA vaccines have been in development since the 1990's. In fact the Ebola vaccine is a mRNA vaccine, and the only difference now is the inclusion of the spike protein, which the virus will infect you with anyway.
9.3 billion doses of the vaccines have been administered worldwide now, 30 million a day, there is more than enough data to prove it's effectiveness. The fact that a minuscule percentage of doctors somehow believe they know better than the leasing virologists in the world is inconsequential, how many doctors do you think have had the vaccine? "Let that sink in" as you say. To blatantly ignore the overwhelming amount of data supporting the vaccines shows extreme confirmation bias.
I don't see how someone should lose their job for simply not getting vaccinated however, unless it's covered in their employment contract. If not then on what grounds is the dismissal based?

Everyday we stand in front of a shitload of choices.
“Every man for himself an God for us all……..”
You have only one choice between two corner cafes to buy your Friday Russian and Chips. You have never bought from either of them. Which one do you choose?
It doesn’t matter, afterwards you will regret not having bought from the other one.

Re: No More Nadine??
3 years 5 months agoPeople are free to choose, but not free to choose consequences. Personal freedoms are highly valued by many of us, but personal freedoms have limits. Her employer made clear their position on vaccination requirements - she has however made the calculated choice to place higher value on her 'beliefs' (unless there is a valid medical reason not to take the jab), and less on her job.
Unfortunately, we know that these beliefs are rooted in misinformation, US right-wing/ conservative/ conspiracy theory/ anti-vax propaganda. However, the same con artists of this know better and have taken the jab: Trump, Fox News hosts, Republican senators, banned "cancel culture victims" (Marjorie Taylor Greene, Dr Robert Malone) etc. Why should we not think that choosing not to be vaccinated is about prioritising self/ selfishness/ unexamined beliefs over others/ community/ science?
@Curlin...please read @mr hawaii's post and my reply to @bayern...the unvaccinated are not facing the consequences of their decisions but the consequences of the at-risk sectors of the wider populations susceptibility to the virus as well as the ineffectiveness of the "vaccines"...I, being a healthy person not in any of the at-risk categories and being under 65 so with a less than 1% probability (probably lower now as latest variant is less severe) of death if infected, do not want to take on a treatment that, at best, for me, improves my odds by a % of 1%...if it helps you, I am happy for you...
Do not equate unvaccinated with infected and transmitting and hence a risk to everyone around them...when a vaccinated person returns a positive PCR test, does it tell who or how they got infected? If no-one knows, how can you and so many others be pinning it on the unvaccinated? And so want them to face consequences that cannot with certainty be ascribed to them?
Stay safe and healthy...

one thing i would love to know is why Africa with so few vaccinated is doing so well - Is it the vitamin d, younger population, diet , genes, amount of exercise we get(most Africans walk mega daily... maybe more research should be done as to why we are doing so well as a continent - I'm sure more people die from famine and war in Africa than covid
and from what I see on the ground in "townships" the people don't wear masks or follow covid protocols unless they are going into controlled spaces like cities or malls.
stats i found covid deaths
Africa: 228 801 deaths
America: 2 417 863 deaths
Europe: 1 650 836 deaths

3 years 5 months agoI think the general consensus is that so many Africans have some degree of natural immunity from being previously infected. Which should be an indication that it's time to end lockdowns and the state of emergency.one thing i would love to know is why Africa with so few vaccinated is doing so well - Is it the vitamin d, younger population, diet , genes, amount of exercise we get(most Africans walk mega daily... maybe more research should be done as to why we are doing so well as a continent - I'm sure more people die from famine and war in Africa than covid

To push your product that is making you billions in profits in return for a cut in the form of "research" funding? Small price to pay...as a business, most certainly...but ethics and morals left at the door...

Think it has something to do with malaria exposure and treatment...extreme north and south of Africa is outside the malaria zone and severity has been worse...south-east Asia also high malaria areas but Chinese coronavirus has not been as severe there...
