Hats off to Marcus. Seeking The Stars looks like needs to go off from the start, no need to restrain him. He caught them sleeping and it was over 1600m.

If there was a Grade 1 over 1400m, he will surely win it. Let's hope in the Queens Plate he gets another positive front riding ride but the other jockeys will be weary now.

One of my favourite horses currently around but he won't be a factor in the LQP. Will carry the same weight as Linebacker, Kommetdieding, RB, Warrior etc. They'll all be fitter too considering it was their first run vs his second.

Pls guys ,watch this race again Grant drifted his horse from the rail to the centre when Gavin was running on ..... Desert would have won the race ,I think

First time around the left hand bend for DM, travelled down to Cape Town, not a bad effort.

At least MdK had the guts to take his charge to the Cape, unlike the Beach Boys who are too scared to come up to JHB and challenge him here.
