HAMILTON

1.14pm
Market movers . . .2.10 Box Office, a newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard, is the firm favourite at 13-8, the 7-4 having been taken.

2.40 Almost Married has beenbacked from into 11-4 from 10-3.

3.10 The unpenalised Prescription has been well backed into 8-13 from 8-11.

4.10 Two for money are Ruth Carr's Moheebb (4-1 from 11-2) and last week's Ayr winner Grit (4-1 from 9-2). 4.40 JohnGosden's Expresso Star is a strong odds-on shot, and though offered at 4-5 in some quarters early on is now best priced at 4-9.

5.10 An interesting move for Stewart Parr's Haajes who has been backed from into 8-1 from 11-1.

1.12pm
Non-runners . . .2.10 4 Zegna (VC) 2.40 2 Compton Classic (VC) 3.10 3 Indian Diva (travel) 3.40 8 Miss Porcia (travel) and 9 Tip Top Style (SC) 4.10 6 Snow Dancer (SC)

1.10pm
Going update . . .The ground is soft, heavy in places, going stick 6.4. The stalls are in the centre for the 5f and 6f races.

Clerk of the Course Hazel Peplinski reckons that the fastest going will be against either rail, with the centre being the softest. On recent evidence, the runners will head towards the stand side, though the two 5f races both have fields of 13 so a few of the high drawn horses might chance the far side.

Leicester

1.25pm
No shows . . . In the second race at 2.50, Veronicas Way is a non-runner with a self-certificate - George Moore's filly did not eat up last night - while Rossini Byline defects with a self-certificate after John Spearing discovered she had bruised a foot.

In the 3.50 race North Parade has been taken out by Brian Meehan with a self-certificate. The colt is stiff.

Wilbury Star is out of the 4.20 witha self-certificate. Richard Hannon's colt is lame.

In the 4.50 Starlight Gazer is a non-runner owing to unsuitable ground while in the finale at 5.20 Romany Nights does not go. Gay Kelleway's gelding did not eat up.

1.15pm
Looking good . . . The Oadby area is dull and overcast with Leicester clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson describing the going as 'good, good to firm in places' for today's fixture.

Drainage work carried out last year ensured only one meeting waslost and the track's general manager David Maykels said: "We've had dry weather for the past three days and the course looks fantastic."

KEMPTON

1.25pm
Market movers . . . The first three races at Kempton today are all 2yo maidens and the opening 1m event plays host to the best backed horse on the card, Red Spider, who is clearly expected to make a winning debut for John Gosden. Backed from a high of 7-2 on the exchanges, the Princess Haya Of Jordan-owned son of Red Ransom is a general 8-11 chance now.

Splashdown has attracted significant support in the 7f fillies' maiden an hour later. The Luca Cumani-trained daughter of Falbrav is a half sister to connections' smart 1m1f - 1m2f performer Cosmodrome, who was a a Polytrack winner on debut. Splashdown is now best priced 2-1 having hit a high of 7.5 on Betfair this morning.

Later on the card, Vhujon and Light Hearted have both attracated support in the 6f 3yo handicap at 4.30, while the well-treated Titan Triumph looks to have an excellent chance of ending Paul Doe's lengthy losing run at the track (250 days, 35 rides) in the 1m handicap at 5.00.

Scotia a healthy site, why is there more focus on the UK than on your own racing, is it that crap?

Have a look at the Betfair forum should you want more banter, its busy as all hell

Good evening mastul always nice to have a visitor from overseas?
Today was dirt racing from Kimberley and not much interest, we have plenty owners on the site and prefer to leave the local card to the experts, so I normally talk about the U.K.
Still a big potential to buy SA horse flesh and own horses here, hope you keep in touch.
I am well aware of Betfair, in fact I was a guest at Kempton Park on boxing day in the box, that was a day to remember, Kauto Star.
