The bad news is that I was at Big T about 6 weeks ago & the buffet at Elevation room was R 250 per head which i think is a bit bloody steep............. not everyone wants a 3 course meal

Frodo & family are normally 4 or 5 - so he can be spending R 1,250-00 BEFORE a DRINK & a BET....... are they trying to chase people away ?

what about a decent steak & chips, or curry & rice , chicken a la king ( R 100 - 150) I think would be fair !

Let's give 4Racing a chance it's hard to get licenses approved in SA and remember the GGB went into administration and that delayed the process further!! (Battle plan updates would have helped though)

Even Betfred have had issues, i know they couldn't operate at Turffontein the other day (BW)

Imo the whole process really does not inspire any confidence - can't be that difficult to provide weekly updates on what is happening ?

And the whole 'racing experience' leave a lot to be desired - as Elvis says, what if racegoers only want a pie and a coke ? And the shambles to get in - they have these lists that nobody knows where they originate, as not once has my name been on the list - 'its fine sir, just write your name here' :ohmy:

And who knows what will happen on Saturday - as I understand it, according to the honorable minister, some spectators are allowed at sports events (and Gold Circus has been quick to re-act) - but what happens in Gauteng ? Or does racing still fall under 'Agriculture' - and what does that mean ito spectators ?

On the positive side, we are still racing for a 90k Maiden purse (we have missed out on 3 5th place cheques, but I see this has been re-introduced) - heaven knows where the money comes from - as the pools are not back to pre-COVID levels

The CAPE boys are letting everyone know that their saviors licenses are all in place and 4 Racing will take over in November.....

Good news if they do, but it's very quiet with a pending completion nearing..

Hopefully mid November it will happen and we can then get some transparency on what the plans are .

Racing at Randjies is my hope 🙏

My plan will be to run a fun bus from the pub to the track. 🤞
