One thing for sure, it's going to be bloody cold at the Vaal.
Hopefully the punters can start with a Safe Passage.
Reunion can also be a banker in exotics.
Good Punting

howzit all
agree with Craig as this looks like a decent card today
in the first Safe Passage looks like a good bet but i have covered the Bipot with This Generation and Groomedtowin just to be safe...no pun intended lol
i make the second race a tussle between the top two in the betting , MABONENG and WISTERIA AVENUE
in the 3rd i do fancy BOLD FORTUNE to give LA LUVIA a go to the finish
the 4th is a bit competitive and could throw up a result for the exotics...likely winners for me include ARIZONA LADY/PARKER GETRIX and MOUNT ATHOS
the memory of REUNION's second start still lingers at the back of my mind but all things equal looks like back to best...will be extremely hard to beat …i am covering exotics with TYRUS EXPRESS though!
SOUTHERN SONG won well but now up in the ratings...so wont run to take evens...ROCK YOU/DYNASTIC LIGHT and ALL AGLOW to make her work for victory
last 2 races are competitive and shortlist for me are
race 7 - BEYOND THE RUNWAY/ANCESTRAL PRAYER/LET THERE BE LIGHT/READYSETGLO/KAPAMA
race 8 - NORDIC REBEL/TIGHT FIVE/TILLIEANGUS
enjoy and be safe!!

Leopardstown
425 Heart to heart sets a decent standard with more to come up in trip..she should win…Obliviate a likely danger
5pm Seisai unlikely to be good enough but overpriced double figures
530 Point Lonsdale has best form by some way but going 7 around a bend on fast ground won’t play to his strengths…I will be against at 2/9
600 Canters Well
630 I Siyou Baby the one to beat under a penalty but priced in 11:8…Supposedtobe the EW play in first time blinkers…got no run last day and showed up well at this venue on previous 2 runs but didn’t stay…
700 Tina Angelina
730 Okita Soushi entitled to be fav in my opinion…the one to beat…
800 Lunar power getting expensive to follow but should be hard to beat here…
Limerick
440 No bet
510 Whosgotyanow entitled to be just about fav but not much juice in price…Rambling rose overpriced but a disappointing horse overall
540 Royal recital sets a decent standard over the trip…Woodbrook boy overpriced also
610 Ornua returning to hurdles looks decent value against a vulnerable Fav and benbulben taking big rise in class
640 Stilyker should run well in open race
710 Gendarme should be hard to beat
740 Forgetthesurprise entitled to be fav despite big rise in weights but happie days should go well in CP while market check needed Some Joke…competitive race
825 Ask for fame…no bet

Looks like a few straight-forward contests, but a few very tough ones as well - thoughts:
R1: Safe Passage does look a hard nut to crack - first-timer would have to be quite good to beat SP imo
R2: Not convinced here - I thought even Walkinginmemphis can feature
R3: Top 3 ones in the betting should fight this out
R4: Maiden Handicap - beware
R5: Reunion on his last run looks hard to oppose - Lady Amherst second best imo
R6: Southern Song all the rage, but needs to give 4 kgs to All Aglow - looks competitive to me
R7: Open - I'm loading up in the PA
R8: Open - I'm also loading up
Enjoy

Thanks Craig - nice treble. I didn't get 11/1 but a win is a win! (I should have waited for Maboneng to drift as it did!!)
