Mauritius P6

Last week P6 there was a 50k carry over. This week the pool is 30k??? Carry over again.
I’ve been 1 out both weeks! Surely if they roll the carry overs you gonna get a massive pool.

My argument is why doesn’t the carry over be CARRIED OVER?
If you take the last 2 meetings, there’s been 80k carried forward meaning that there are people playing Mauritius P6.
Today’s P6 was not difficult to catch, unfortunately I bankered Trip To The Sky that run 2nd. The P6 here paid Rs 1.4 million (R460,000) with a Rs 800,000 carry over.
With a big pool it will attract more players, Mauritius is not Ngong!!

We need your previews again Mark.
So much better playing after we hear from someone who sees the horses in training and knows the form well.

I’m busy working on something with Warren Lenferno to do a preview to help SA punters who play Mauritian racing. Unfortunately the South African that was the CEO pulled the pin on the show I use to do. Hopefully I will be back soon as I watch the training and have an idea what’s happening here.

This topic has been raised a thousand times before, and is definitely not specific to Mauritius racing only.
Good luck getting any response here - I believe The Good has done some interesting analysis on the Carryover amounts and their usage thereof.

I have asked the same question about 2 weeks ago in another Mauritius thread.
I don't think the carry over should be added to the local pools,,,if it is at all.

Really sorry about that. I used to look forward to your analysis.
I hope you can find a permanent platform

I would bet my last dollar that some of the carryovers end up as profit, along with the 'unclaimed' winning tickets!!!....what actually audits these tickets/carryovers?

We’ve had 3 carryovers into today’s meeting yet the last I looked the pool was a mere R17500. Where does the money go and why not carry it forward to Mauritian racing?

I agree most people want to see the money stay with the centre, so they stand a chance to recuperate it, not being laundered across who knows where...so much for transparency.
