No show by JP.
One runner at Fairview on Friday. *Treasure Hunt in race 5. First run poly and first time this far. She has had a workout on the poly and should be ok. Looks an open contest, but she has been running against stronger in CT so hoping for a big run, despite the draw ad the 4 point raise for her 2nd place last time.

Treasure Hunt handy from wide draw, but faded out. Seemed to handle the poly, but trip just a bit too far, especially from that draw and into a headwind.

One runner at Kenilworth on Saturday. Golden Tatjana runs in the Southern Cross stakes. A decent field and she would do well to run a place. She is quick, course and distance suited, so could upset.

Golden Tatjana not ridden out, something amiss.
One runner at Turffontein on Tuesday. Nothingelsematters in race 3.
Will prefer this trip, and should enjoy the longer straight. Can go close if repeating penultimate.
Looks an open contest.

Nice run Nothingelsematters that draw in 2nd.

Two runners at Kenilworth on Wednesday.
Race 2 Hokaai my Meisie. If not needing it after her break can upset. Had no luck in KZN with draws. Better than her form suggests.
Love Shack and Princess Virginie are the two to beat

Race 3 Double Distilled. Very disappointing so far- needs big improvement.

Hokaai seemed to need the run.
Double Distilled no show again.

One runner at Vaal on Thursday.
Aussenkehr in race 7. Very tough race, although he is game. Will struggle to give the weight to Raven Black and Back in Business.

Aussenkehr needs to drop a bit in the ratings.

Three runners at Fairview on Friday.
*Sunlit from Heaven and *Countess of the Stars in race 3. Sunlit has an ew chance. Countess shown nothing yet.
*Lady Renee in race 5, relocates from CT. Below best last couple, but If she handles the poly and the trip, then will have an ew shout.

Sunlit ran 4th behind the runaway winner, but jarred up in the running. Countess refused to gallop. Lady R hated the poly kickback.

One runner at Vaal on Saturday. Celtic Rumours in the Grand Heritage. Is still improving and distance suited, so with a bit of luck in the running must be a leading contender. She got smacked 7 lb for her last good win, but hopefully will end up better than her 100 rating, and has the benefit of Fourie in the saddle.
Always a very open race and a huge field so anything can happen.
I bred Forest Fox which won the 2017 renewal when the stake was R750k, so hoping lightning can strike twice.

Celtic Rumours a bit troublesome at the start. Was going well enough but no kick late.

Two runners at Kenilworth on Sunday.
Call to Unite in race 5. Impressive maiden win but this is quite a competitive field and again does not crack a draw. Hoping that he can win again and then go for the Politician Stakes. Fellow 3yos Right Royal Mo, Avignon and Willie John are all progressive and must be respected. There are some hard knocking older horses but I expect the 3yos to fight it out. I will banker him in the exotics.
Canford Rose runs in race 6. Her two CT runs at Durbanville were below expectations, although she was badly out at the weights in both of those. Back in handicap company, and on a track which should suit her better, she can bounce back to confirm the promise of her maiden win. A very open race with quite a few coming in off promising maiden wins. She is at long odds and may be worth an ew nibble although a tough draw to overcome.

Call to Unite butchered by the jock. The only benefit is that he showed that he can settle off the pace and run on which will assist him in tougher company.
Canford Rose showed good pace but faded tamely halfway down the straight.

One runner on Wednesday but we don’t know which track yet.
Common Grounds in race 6. Decent Maiden win and went close last time over further. A little surprised that he has dropped back in trip. Looks a very competitive affair if it stays on turf.

Two runners at Fairview on Tuesday.
*Elusive Mata in race 2. She has been progressing nicely and we are expecting a good run. If the  CT raider Flamboyant Flyer takes to the poly then she will be hard to beat.
Beau Kala runs in race 5. Below best last two after two good runs. Very open race and she has an ew chance if finding her earlier form.
