I understand that the Vaal will also close and be used as a training centre only .
A sand track for Big T.
Good news racing at Randjies.

Not sure if BR will still be running the show, or if I will live to catch a race in Pretoria 🙏

Some points I think are salient:

3.8. preparing for the potential dispute resolution process to resolve Gold Circle’s alleged claim that it owns 39% of the issued share capital of PGI;

4. Interbet repurchased by original seller (I think that’s what it means);

5. Sell by auction Arlington racecourse 23 April.

I don’t see anything about the Vaal.

i have only one comment.

closing the Vaal as a racing centre would be a mistake.
1.We have lost Kimberley last year. Lower quality horses wont be accommodated in Gauteng anymore.
2. Gauteng dont have good history with sand tracks.
3. Turfies is a non aspirational venue and should be seen as a last resort venue. more money should not be put into that project.

sure i could come up with more reasons after a few whiskeys.

Problem is the new kids on the block could be pensioners before we have any changes.

Vaal probably 2/3 years

Randjies we could hopefully kick in with fun days within a year 🙏

Phone Debbie to book your picnic spot 😎 those were the days .
