Vaal pick 6 pool R5million rand . Hard card compared to last week summer cup . Pick 6 that pay out R370k . There were a number of tickets at tote and alot of bookies .

Won't be surprised if this meeting does not go ahead - certainly rained a lot in the north; not sure what the situation is at the course - and as per usual TT a fountain of information :huh:

This is highly frustrating. Either postpone the meeting early or send out a message confirming they've acknowledged the amount of rain received and forecasted to fall, and decided that the track will be okay to make it through. Another typical South African racing mentality, keep the punter guessing and wasting their time studying the form guide, because they have nothing better to do.

Your guess would be as good as anyone's - today they have brought in the inner rail - last time this happened inside draws were a definite advantage, but with the wet track, who knows - hopefully the first race can give some sort of indication :unsure:
