[only before noun] (approving) unusually large; producing an unusually large amount. a bumper issue (= of a magazine, etc.) a bumper crop/harvest/season/year. Farmers have been celebrating bumper crops this year.

1. bigger or more successful than usual. It's been a bumper year for car sales.

i dont think what the vaal are putting on tomorrow qualifies as bumper. :)

Race 1 - 1 Caerphilly
Race 2 - 3 Stormy Seas
Race 3 - 2 Miss Venezuela
Race 4 - 1 Zodiac Princess
Race 5 - 3 Dusted Donut
Race 6 - 2 Dark Moon Rising, 4 Full Mast
Race 7 - 2 True Words
Race 8 - 2 Kayla's Champ
Race 9 - 10 Whorly Whorly
Race 10 - 11 The Fifth Wave

All the best to all Clanners for today...stay safe and healthy...

Some lockdowns starting again in NH...but also some protests against lockdowns...people want the agency to think for themselves rather than being told what they can and cannot do...and lockdowns kill more livelihoods than lives, some of which would have happened from some other cause even if no virus...

Tito kicked the can down the road again...trying to get a full 5 year term, retire with full ministerial pension and problem is some-one else's to look like they are trying to solve...

Government keeps harping about high debt servicing costs for Rand denominated bonds...they have taken the route of low interest but high uncertainty currency risk foreign denominated bonds which could well cost more in the long run...again, will be up to some future sucker to look like they are trying to solve... :(...

Apparently regulation 28 being amended to allow (read co-erce) pension funds to invest in infrastructure projects...should have been funded from taxes if so much was not inefficiently used or stolen...:( :(

Agree with 2cents Flower Of Scotland is going to run a fine race as the workriders will go really fast which will suite her - On daily times in her last start both the horses that finished just ahead of her and just behind her won 2 races in a row - evens for 4 places

Tough looking card - draws down the straight in the earlier races may be a pointer to the later races - but not easy
