Well spotted by the stipes. The NHA is doing very well since Vee took over!
As for the owner, well, he probably needed an excuse to chuck it.
And i quote " very well since Vee took over "    that is hilarious

.....and when since did NHRA officials get so f@cking technical.....doubt that any of them have ever been on a horses back let alone having to switch a stick while trying to hold onto the knitting.....and as Glen Hatt says in his post at SP he saw nothing unto wards with the ride.....a definite witch hunt that has resulted in a travesty for the game....

just to throw a spanner in the works - if that race was a Million rand sales race would the offending jockey have been more vigorous? A punters money means the same to him in a Maiden or a feature - Just a thought

.....this is no storm in a tea cup.....and was not a million rand race either.....but the sanctions of a fine and an obscene MR penalty for the horse and the rider is totally unprecedented....there should have been firstly an objection to the MR penalty and the jock should appeal.....but it is easier to walk away than have a microscope up your @rse everyday....

It is shocking that you see so called " questionable rides " most meetings but only certain ones are singled out , makes you wonder what certain people have done to Vee and his henchmen to be singled out

and now Ndlovu's penalty halved for a blatant easy so I think the jock should just appeal if he has not already done so

.....having the privilege of the "gift box".....I get to see all the replays and head on's on the clean feed channel daily..... and most races show the most awful stick work in the finish.....including the recent race where Anton Marcus having his stick hit from his hand.....and also top jocks Strydom Lerena Kennedy with sticks in the wrong hand.....then that gr8 chirp from Eric Fordred saying that Andrew Fortune won more races sitting no good on a horse....brilliant...but Andrew recons the intent not to win the race was obvious.....ja to a oke that was once a master....sure his chirp about him being a stipe was tongue in cheek.....or maybe he just wants to be on Vee's Christmas card list......

The only question here is - why has the NHA picked up this particular incident ? Imo, there is no doubt that the jock is guilty - the horse surprised the connections - hard to prove that there was any skullduggery involved - still I think most believe the horse would have beaten the fancied stable mate, had the jock shown even a little more intent - but as others have mentioned - why pick on this incident as countless others get ignored - so can't really blame the connections for feeling aggrieved - however I think if it were me, I would have just shrugged of the incident - so there may be more to this story
