basically...IMO...they realised that they could take the race with an allowance...nothing untoward...

I must admit that the jock change on Durty Nelly caught me out...because I missed it...but that was shrewd thinking by the stable...

You can go far back in a horses form and find some sort of reason why it's got a chance.Recent form needs to stand up,no punter likes in and out runners.
With those payouts I think it shows that the horses that should be winning or coming close don't always deliver.
The last few months I think it's been the worst in 20 years with pick 6 carryovers.

Yes durbs...the break has played havoc with the reading of form...it has also allowed the smaller stables to come back because they only ever have a few staff...so they get a chance against the bigger yards...

My final say before we move to GraveVille (as someone said)...:P :P The P6 became a bit of a mugs bet when they took the couplings etc away...trying to lure people in with promises of a big payout ala Lotto...
It is a different type of betting...
look at the quartets/trifectas/exactas...why wait for 6 legs to run...;)

Missed the pick 6 by one leg -
On Captains Side unfortunately the stirrup leather broke soon after the start which put paid to her chances

thanks again...You show that even with your perceived resources and connections...that it is not a forgone conclusion...

as I have said many times and ages ago...this forum, is one of the few...that allows...all walks of life, to communicate, if they want to...;) I have never been exposed to other peoples opinions, where I am interested in what they have to say, as I have been on this forum...and for that I am grateful...
