R8) Contrail must represent the best value on the card. Getting 6.50kgs from the favourite, who is also a one-time winner, just took three runs to win it's maiden, whereas the favourite did it after two. Know where I'll be putting my cash.
Others i fancy, (R2), Different Light, and (R4), Battle Of Alesia.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Some nice competitive racing .... thoughts:
R2: Different Light not the greatest form, so Fire Flower comes into it imo; also Mamaquera entitled to improvement
R3: Opening Gambit threatening; the market support is for Petersham, who may prefer this slightly shorter trip; War Jewel in form, so can't be ignored either, while General Jackson look to have potential - widish drawn though
R4: Does appear a two horse contest between Battle of Alesia and Sidonie; dark horse is Grindelwald, who pulled last time in the blinkers, and has BoA held on the form behind Zillzaal
R5: Captain Flynt on the up, with Sea Air the main danger; Hidden Agenda with the allowance well in here, and may be the surprise package
R6: Tough race; Illusion is held by Varimax at the weights, so might be worthwhile looking else where; Sullenberg overdue; while the Binda runners (bar maybe Manx Park) all must have some sort of chance, as does Boatswain
R7: Another open contest; both Van Halen, and Prince of Kahal prefers a tough further, but with a fast pace may get up to challenge; Down to Zero, Mr Flood, Gimme a Wave and Donderweer look the main dangers
R8: Mohican looks to have plenty potential, but has to give Contrail quite a lot of weight, so it could get close between the two, especially as M has a wide draw to overcome; not too many that can trouble these 2 imo; maybe Movie Magic, Riga 'd Ora and True Words
R9: Seattle Force looks the right one; with Greenwood Drive, Shenanigans and Master Magic the main dangers
Enjoy

JANE'S DREAMWORLD
Well need...never showed on Debut
STORMY WEATHERS
Ran under 1L to Querari Ferrari over the 7furlong, hasn't shown much since then
BRIDESMAIDBLUES
Last 2runs over the 1200m
8th place finish was better than 4th place (lengths)
ATWAAR (WIN)
50/1
VERY NICE BREEDING
DEBUT RUN WAS 3RD...RUNNING ON STRONGLY
NOT STRIDING IN LAST
SO THIS IS A FLAMINGO RAIDER...WITH A 3RD AGAINST A WEAKER FIELD,STILL THINK THAT 50/1 IS A TO BIG PRICE...
I'M LOOKING AT THE HORSE AS HAVING THE EXPERIENCE OF 2RUNS....BUT BEEN A FIRST TIMER IN THE DE KOCK STABLE AS FIRST RUN ON TURF
WOULD OF BEEN 22/10
