i have taken 2 trebles r2-9 x r3 -1 x r4-7 all wins

and r2-9 win x r3-1 win r4 - 7 place

race 4 4 is the form horse but on the madonna formline 6 is better weighted and also 3 is better weighted so 6 becomes the mark horse wher jungle fairy is 4kg better off for 0.5l was drawn in the bush and raced wide that day 5-1 take all you can get !!!massive trebles i am quite confident about

• GAVIN SMITH - Number 2 - TRIAL RUN : He has his first run back after the gelding and may need it, but he could be thereabouts.

• DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 7 - THOMAS TUCKER : If not too green he can run well.

SHARON KOTZEN - Number 8 - VIBERMATIC : He is a nice, big solid horse, but he is very colty. He is going to get a run under the belt and then gelded. As a result we’re not sure that he will fully concentrate on the job at hand and it is an educational run.

TARA LAING - Numbers 3 and 4 - APOLLO ROCK & DR GOODWIN : Both horses are expected to need another run or two of experience.

• TARA LAING - Numbers 5, 6 and 9 - BABY SARGE, BEYOND TEMPTATION &

PALACE QUEEN : Baby Sarge and Beyond Temptation will both need the experience. Palace Queen would be better over further but in a weak field she must have a big chance.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1 and 8 - SISTER LEE & INAN : Sister Lee is always thereabouts. Inan

• TARA LAING - Number 1 - BREVIN : He has the Paddock horse to beat, but should be in the money.

• GRANT PADDOCK - Number 2 - FORT CAROL : He has his first start for the yard off useful Highveld form. His work is good and he has winning claims.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 3 and 5 - SHOOTING STAR & LUMOS : Shooting Star has his first start for the yard. This will be a learning curve but he does have a place chance in a small field. We were happy with Lumos’ last run which he just needed and also found short. The mile is what we feel he has been looking for.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6 and 7 - FREEDOM TRAIL & GIVEMETHETHUMBSUP : Freedom Trail tries further. Givemethethumbsup is showing improvement.

*RACE 4* :

• TARA LAING - Numbers 1, 3 and 6 - SASSY LADY, WESTON & FLY THOUGHT : Sassy Lady can get a bit strong in the mile, if she settles she does have a chance. Fly Thought is in quite a strong field but she’s won her last two and is on the up, she must have a good chace. Weston would be better over 1400m but she can get the mile and can run into quartets.

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2, 4 and 5 - DOUBLE BLACK, SOLEMN PROMISE & CHAKRI : Double Black can run into quartets. Solemn Promise has a winning chance. Chakri has her second run after the lay off but can get closer.

GAVIN SMITH - Number 8 - STRAWBERRY FIRE : She needed her first and could manage the back end of quartets.

*RACE 5* :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 2, 5 and 6 - ALDO, KIMBERLEY STAR, ZEVENASTIC & MERYL : Aldo is not expected to need the run and is decent sprinting type, the grass though is a concern as it is a surface he must still prove himself on. Kimberley Star is not expected to need the run and has got upset potential even though this is sharp for him. Zevenastic is as honest as the day is long, but he does seem to have just lost form. Meryl is the

dark horse in the race, she may want further but is well weighted here and a decent sort.

• TARA LAING - Number 3 - OMEGA ONSLAUGHT : He has dropped a little in the ratings and definitely has a chance.

*RACE 6* :

1st four selections

• GRANT PADDOCK - Number 3 - LORD MARSHAL : He has dropped in the ratings and now races off a competitive mark. He is better than his last where he was caught too far back from a bad draw and has a fair chance.

• GAVIN SMITH - Number 5 - MASTERFUL : He enjoys track and trip and should be thereabouts.

TARA LAING - Numbers 6 and 8 - FAKE NEWS & CAPTAIN MAROONED : Fake News tries the grass again and we are hoping for improvement. We are trying Captain Marooned over the 1400, we do think he has a big chance.

DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 9 - THE CAT : He is drawn well and has dropped in the ratings so I am hoping for better from him.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 10 - SAMAR : He ran a good last race, the 1400m is still short for him but he is not without chance at a cheque.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 2 - FALCON ROCK & HARD CORE : Falcon Rock could run into quartets. Hard Core has been disappointing and though capable of better can’t be tipped with confidence.

*RACE 7* :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 5 - STUDIO BLUES & SILVER WILLOW : Studio Blues has been very consistent and though her stats point out she loves

Poly, she has a winning chance. Silver Willow needs to improve.

• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 6 - JUST MY STYLE & DATA LINK : Just my Style has been honest. She is classy and the extra will be up her alley.

Another nice run is expected. Data Link is a genuine stayer and proven over the 2400m distance. She is up in class but can earn.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4 and 7 - ROCKSETTE & EXCLUSIVITY : Rocksette tries further. Exclusivity has needed runs, she will enjoy the trip.

MONTANA TURNER - Number 8 - BLUE SAGA : She is working well and can improve.

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 3, 8 and 9 - SILVER GOBLET, STEADY BREEZE, TOUCH OF GREEN & JUST CALL ME ANGEL : Silver Goblet enjoys track and trip.

Steady Breeze tries further. Touch of Green has fair form and a quartet chance. Just call me Angel is working well and also has a quartet chance.

• DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Numbers 10, 11 and 14 - BELL TOWER, SALUBRIOUS & GREAT SOUND : Bell Tower has run well of late and another good run is

expected. Salubrious may prefer Poly, but she will definitely appreciate the step back in trip and can improve. Great Sound must improve.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 5 - FACE OF AN ANGEL & ANGEL JOLEE : Hoping for improvement from Face on an Angel with the change of headgear. Angel

Jolee is maturing and we do feel she will now appreciate the bit extra in the way of the mile. She can run well if not just needing it.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 4 and 13 - THREE TIMES A LADY & ICE MINT : Three times a Lady has a chance in an open field. Ice Mint must improve.

TARA LAING - Number 6 - ELEGANT EVA : Her last two runs have been
disappointing and we are hoping for improvement.

Would Greeff not comment on the well backed 1st timer race one??

It's about right I think,greeffed half way in the day.
10-1 and 36-1 stable companions both beat his 8-10 shot.
As regular as clockwork.

Don't think that was greeffed,because her FM 84 HANDICAP (F & M) run over the 1600m that formline is quite decent!!

And she is well bred!!
