The harness racing haters

Yes harness racing has a record for being crooked and horses can gallop for no reason but surely it is easier to make money on Aus harness than it is on Aus flat racing.
Launceston race 5 a 1-10 shot gets beaten.
Jock puts it at the back of the field and three wide and goes down by half a length and Craig Newitt is not one of the worst jockeys out there.
I see the same jock managed to run the 7-10 favorite out the money the race before.
Same as in the UK way too many under par jockeys who would never be in the business if there wasn't so many courses in the country.
And TAB please try and make a plan to give us a harness meeting Jackpot as we have so many flat racing jackpots through the day.
I personally really like the harness racing but only in Aus and not in those nordic countries we used to get to watch.

And as I say that a 4-10 gets beaten at Redcliffe harness and unfortunately that was the first leg of the quickmix.
But that driver,Grant Dixon (and his wife Trish) are the dodgiest couple in harness racing.

If SA racing was not the piss willy product that it has become, then they would not have to be having harness racing and the like. SA racing is a total and utter joke, poorly attended meetings, below average riders, terrible race courses with the first sign of rain they stop because the tracks have not been modified to help with getting rid of the water, small payouts. SA has 5/6 big meetings a year, if that and everyone gets a hard on and after the meeting everybody complains about the food, the lateness of the off, too may races on the day, far too many people on track or far too few, payouts were poor, no parking, TT did a shit job the queues at the tote were long and slow and the cashiers have no manners. The list goes on. All you have to do is read ABC and for every one good thing said about SA racing there are 10 negatives things said. My advice to fans of SA racing. Turn it up and do something else with your time and your hard earned cash.

Grant & Trix Dixob do what they want with punters money in Queensland. Worse off they are feared by the stewards.
Cheats on the seats.

You right chicken we not going forward but about jockeys I really do think our average jock is better than the average jock riding in the UK.
I read the betfair forum and jeez those okes have plenty to say about the state of racing in the UK and even more to say about the riding ability of some jockeys out there.
Imo laying of horses, well not crooked really, but has made the game dishonest in some respects.
You see on the exchanges how horses drift markedly and usually run accordingly.
Hard to make a horse win but oh so easy to get it beat.
I honestly believe that trainers give instructions to jockeys for their horse not to win.Either to try and get a worse rating or to make money out of it and the horse racing authority are too scared to look into suspect rides and betting patterns as they think if they found people guilty too often it will make the game look bent.

The problem of non-triers would disappear overnight if all racing authorities took a lead from one or two jurisdictions where the penalties are so draconian that no one dares to do it - fat chance!

Stop betting exchanges full stop.
If you want the sport to be clean you can't have the option of making money getting your horse beat.

But laying a favorite is the same thing as dutching all the other runners. You’re allowed to Dutch.

You backing the other runners to win but not laying a horse to lose.
Imagine I work at a stable and I know the horse is not ready or he hasn't eaten his food or the trainer is going to tell the jockey to give it an easy ride and not win as we going for better races and want to go into the bigger races with the least weight possible.
The horse is 2-1 with the bookies but I offer 3-1 on the exchanges knowing well that we don't want to win the race, punters will obviously take my price.
Is that inside info or is that cheating?

The betting exchanges report on those type of stories you have painted. They even believe they help to reduce malicious transactions. But I do get your drift.
