Launceston race 5 a 1-10 shot gets beaten.
Jock puts it at the back of the field and three wide and goes down by half a length and Craig Newitt is not one of the worst jockeys out there.
I see the same jock managed to run the 7-10 favorite out the money the race before.
Same as in the UK way too many under par jockeys who would never be in the business if there wasn't so many courses in the country.
And TAB please try and make a plan to give us a harness meeting Jackpot as we have so many flat racing jackpots through the day.
I personally really like the harness racing but only in Aus and not in those nordic countries we used to get to watch.
Hope they listened to you. I see there is no Jackpot at Mooney Valley...These jackpots on flat racing were not popular with some pools less that 3000.

Who is responsible ( from.tab) for choosing meetings to host a local jackpot.
Do they really care about the meagre jackpot pools on the Aussie flat meetings, or rather Flat aussie gets priority over harness racing.
Moreover do they check the stats or its jus haphazard choice for meetings.
When was the last time harness race jackpot pool was less than 2k compared to what we see on the Aus flat pools eg today Canterbury meeting.

Here's another example of the shit that Australian flat racing is.
1st leg of the quickmix was Toowoomba race 6 and yes you guessed it,the biggest donkey of the field wins at 34-1.
Australian racing makes Flamingo Park look like a punters paradise.
Please TAB keep this shit out of the exotics.

6 years 3 months ago..worse it had no absolute form whatever. I admit the game is full of crooks and dirty but this gets worse. Mayb the jiggers worked too for this horse after some confession that most Aussie trainers has jiggers in their stable.durbs wrote: Here's another example of the shit that Australian flat racing is.

Yip it's a dirty sport in Australia.
If Aus flat racing was the only racing around I would give up punting for sure.
Full of rubbish jockeys and trainers, like you said, who try and cheat the system.
