Not an argument just a concern.
Also a reason why graeme hawkins is top class.
Who ever does comments from trainers.looking at todays comments on tellytrack facebook page comments for fairview.
They were able to get comments for every other race from greef, but not RACE 1?where he has the fav and a first timer which has been backed.
This is just an example ,do they choose what horses to ask from which trainers?
Because if i were getting comments i would certanly try best to get info on favoured runners.
Thats just my 2cents.
If im wrong.sorry.
PS: thanks sheldon and graeme hawkins for always doing your best.

Agree 100% Sir P. This has happened on USO as well. It's just incompetent. Its diff if they say the trainer refuses to comment.

Did he not stop doing comments on first timers after they stuck the punters away with the Fortune owned horse? Sure they did

That was the low of all lows.
He's probably paying for that now with what people think of his honesty and integrity.
Those things damage this sport badly.

Sir P , you correct , I have noticed this even this morning on the turf comments where race 6 comments on PSYCHIC was not part of the package but tarry is being interviewed for all the race...they sud let the punter decide on whatever the comments are to punt our bets..a good or bad comment will impact our selections.. so any comment good or bad is transparent information from the trainers to help us make up our own minds on a horse.. IF WE LOOK AT UK & HONG KONG RACING THESE GUYS HUNT DOWN CONNECTS FOR INFORMATIONS & DO LOTS OF RERUNS FOR THE PUNTER..

Reminder.... SA racing is crooked so wtf do you expect ..... Trainers, owners, jockeys, grooms and the well connected have inside info and the punter gets fed sh!t

This can be avoided to an extent. Or at least a perception of transparency created.
Look at how the Aussies cover their big races. Every jockey coming back into the weighing room is forced to give a minute of their time to the broadcaster to give their opinion as to how the race panned out.
Only those who backed the winner want to hear about the horse in the #1 box. Everyone else wants to know what happened to their cash.
Also, I'm sure by now that guys are bored of just hearing from three/four yards at Randjes in an episode of USO. (It's always either Tarry /MDK / Azzie / Woodruff yards featured). Whether that's down to other yards not wanting to speak, or just because the big yards have more runners on the card?
It is evident that people are growing tired of hearing 'this one will need the run' and it wins. Happens up and down the country every single day.

wonbyamile, that is a very broad statement. The vast majority of guys I know in racing are straight down the line good honest people. I see very very few millionaire trainers, jockeys and definitely no grooms!

MDK, Anton etc have become wealthy through being very good trainer's and jockeys. Not through punting. If it was fixed, don't you think everyone on the inside in racing would have retired in a few months and bookies would be bankrupt?

Mr Eudey... My comment was worded incorrectly...the perception is that racing is crooked...I'm sure you can agree with that?
The point is the punter is NOT fed ALL info to make an informed selection and I don't mean stable inside info (still amazed how a horse shortens in the betting from stable money but maybe the comment to the punters is "will need the run" " will be green" etc).
Transparency and other means (sectional timing) is still along way away imo.
