Not easy to make a horse win but easy to make it lose.
Where it starts to become crooked is when you can lay horses to lose like in the UK.
By having that type of market you just asking for trouble.

The point is the punter is NOT fed ALL info to make an informed selection and I don't mean stable inside info (still amazed how a horse shortens in the betting from stable money but maybe the comment to the punters is "will need the run" " will be green" etc).
Transparency and other means (sectional timing) is still along way away imo.
.....imvho trainers and connections that say these things are not really trying to mislead punters.....they in fact have no clue....take it from the oke that found the 50/1 shot to beat a heavily backed 1st timer both racing in the same silks.........I love this game....:P

racing is clean...you sure you not Leon Schuster...lol .
listen to Sheldon Peters gloating and mocking punters on a Friday night how he was told the stable fancies a horse big time...only thing after he tipped something else to mislead punters.

Clean game...laughable

....yes Sheldon and recently Nico gloated about connections being in on punts on longshots....but have you considered that they may have heard from other connections with horses in that very same race also having a go on their respective charges....when I was in a yard I would often hear that at least a handful of horses in the same race were on the job.....it takes a skilled punter to sift through the so called graft....or better not know at all....and work it out....withholding info by connections is not a crime
and does not mean that the game is dirty....those connections may also being fed sh!t just to see that their keep bills are paid every month.....this game has an element of science.....but not an exact science and may be due to the human element....
