Hollywood are usually the only bookies that do right by their customers. Hoping they make a plan for us. ;)

Going to stick to sports betting as horse racing in this country is a joke.

So, are they going to scratch all future slow starters ? It wasn't as if the handler held him back as the gates opened to impede him...puzzling...

I can understand the frustration of getting a deduction etc but to say the horse was simply "Slow into stride" is ridiculous, he was busy trying to take a chunk out of the horse in the stall inside of him when the pens opened and had his head inside the next stall when the pens opened, anyone who took the restrictive odds has a right to expect to be given every chance of winning and this horse was clearly impeded even if was by his own doing..

By the same token, the next time a jockey runs into the back of another horse or goes for a non-existent gap, they can say that they impeded themselves and their horse should be scratched...I can understand the horse being scratched if some-one outside of the horse or jockey resulted in it's slow start but this I cannot understand...there are many horses that start slowly or stand in the stalls and lose 2+ lengths but are not scratched...Trip to Heaven being a case in point...

By the way, I took Kelloholm Lad to place...

If you are the master of your own disaster you should be deemed a runner - Completely inconsistent from the stipes and it should be challenged - If a horse decided to savage another in running will it also be deemed a non runner( I have seen many that were demoted or DISQUALIFIED for savagery but this is the first time I see one declared a NON-Runner)? Madness and I had zero bets on that race

Clearly those who took the short price would disagree...at least in this instance the only folk who are complaining are those who won in the race...

Ok no more complaining from me, going to have a nap. A half a winner is better than a loser I suppose. :) :P
