WTF !! I had the bombs on the Alec Laird horse in the 1st. Went to Gym & Listened to the commentary & almost whizzed off the treadmill with excitement. Come home to find a crazy deduction. What possible reason did they have to scratch the odds on shot ??

I can understand the frustration of getting a deduction etc but to say the horse was simply "Slow into stride" is ridiculous, he was busy trying to take a chunk out of the horse in the stall inside of him when the pens opened and had his head inside the next stall when the pens opened, anyone who took the restrictive odds has a right to expect to be given every chance of winning and this horse was clearly impeded even if was by his own doing..
