Noble idea - but imo has as much chance of succeeding as those guys who want to protest against the fuel price

There was a petrol protest in the UK about 15 years ago
No petrol for about a week
Petrol was the 70p a litre
Now it’s 129p

Won’t happen !
Owners have always been indifferent (apathetic) while their rights have progressively been abused and trampled on. The RA, under the ‘leadership’ of Wainstein, who are supposed to represent and assist owners, have been bought by Phumelela effectively also rendering the Racing Trust a tool for the Corporate. The NHA can’t fund itself also making it a tool of Phumelela. Directors salaries are astronomical and won’t decrease, nepotism and self-interest is rife and the stakes agreement neither enforced nor monitored.
Expect owners to continue leaving in their droves but don’t expect them to take a stand, as they never have in the past while their rights and Horseracing has been butchered and stripped.

apparently one big issue is a couple of trainers not passing over the groom stake chop
l g tells us that if this is so then the operator and nha will take immediate steps to punish perpetrators and rectify the situation. another issue is the race day transporters are not up to scratch. if so then this should have been sorted already

Yup and the other trainers get dragged down with them
Ps I know owners that pay more than 1%
Ps ps There was also another groom killed the other week at work ... I think this issue has also enraged them
