Oscar you also have to take into consideration that the whole horse population got an across the board merit rating increase of 6 pounds as of the first of march so in old terms he is a 106 ...im sure there will be enough pinnacle plates put on for him at the rating of 112 which will suit him and also he can compete in wfa races like the mercury sprint the cape flying etc ..you should be over the moon you have a horse that is good enough to compete in such prestigious races ...enjoy him they dont come along very often

And, should it be Rocky Valley? Frodo? I’ll do my assessment this eve.

I also have him at 105 ..... using Queen Laurie as the line horse .... which makes Speedpoint 101 .... as you say they used Rocky Valley as the line horse .... correct ratng might be somewhere in between

For me Rocky Valley cannot be the line horse. Although this line is "franked" with three others (Graduation Day, Rebel's Champ and Down To Zero) the line has a 2 pound margin of error. Furthermore, the three runners all ran behind Rocky Valley by uninspiring distances.

Considering the 1 pound weight for age allowance for three year olds over 1000m in May, a zero pound margin of error reveals two line horses, one franking the other. That is the winner and the runner-up. For me, both Attenborough and Pinnacle Peak are themselves the line horses.

(That is assuming the published MR's in the racecard are credible)

If he ran to a credible 103 in his brilliant Man O'War then he also ran to the same (102) in the Computaform. 103. In my opinion he is a co-line horse.

Depending on how one calculates ratings in relation to weight carried, lengths behind (over 1000) and WFA, the following is probably realistic imo:

Attenborough 109
Pinnacle Peak 108
Speedpoint 104
Queen Laurie 96
Rockey Valley 101
Exquisite Touch 95
Naafer 100
Graduation Day 99
Trip to Heaven 99
Rebel's Champ 98
Down to Zero 98
