The difference here PC is Daniel's has a substance abuse problem. He needs help, not shame and ridicule.

I wonder if per chance if we change the addiction to "gambling" and the offender to a trainer or Stable employee would the NHRA be so strong in its release of evidence? The guy needed help for ages but did not get it or want it - I have no actual problem with the release but it should be the same for all - How many times are the specifics omitted when a jockey's hit each other or when others assault members of the public or other members that fall under the NHRA - How many times are we privy to the "mitigating" circumstances regarding doping charges? Double standards !! How many people came out in support of Andrew Fortune when he had his troubles but because this guy is not a top rider that is in the limelight he's an easy target - I hope he fnds a way to get clean and returns either as a Jock or assistant trainer -
