NHRA step in and show that you are a regulatory body,, suspend the sale or trading of any Jooste associated horse until this matter is clarified

There is confusion here, we need clarification as to what is going on and what are the ramifications for racing,, there is no racing press,, TT should keep punters up to date with this story and it's effects on racing

The fact that he has resigned and the share price has taken a beating of over 60% and considering that the German authorities will press charges then all assets and bank accounts should be frozen immediately until the case of fraud is answered.

if I were the NHRA I would be very careful...This is a multinational problem that is serious .. but until charges are laid I doubt they can stop any sale - there are only allegations at this point and you cannot stop a person from transacting purely on allegations -

What I am pointing out is that the NHRA is supposed to be the sports controlling body and must be seen to be In control of the industry, we as a racing association, meaning SA horseracing industry/sport must feel confident that the industry is regulated,, it's bad enough that we have a controlled racing press protected by the buddy buddy system and also other appointed racing bodies what work in secrecy and not answerable to anyone as well as a clique that controls and manipulates,, racing must get a grip on things and remember that the ethos and integrity of racing must be served

But the NHRA can only work on 100% facts

They must do some homework, do a press release, make a statement, they are paid to regulate and must be seen to be protecting the industry,,

The Steinhoff Board has admitted to accounting irregularities & the Auditors would not sign off the financials........... never mind, say nothing rather...

As much as it pleases so many here on ABC to be able to attack racing and alk the relevant bodies, the fact of the matter remains that everything is speculation at this point.
The only good thing about this whole issue is that it makes a lot of unhappy and nameless cowards who hide behind their computers, extremely happy.
