Torio lake definitely features here since the other two only have preceeding reputations...yet to prove their ability.

In fact given the likely state of the surface, i am not sure i can risk a 0/2 scenario today, might bypass the day completely.

Vaal Racing on the inside track

Race 1: King Of The Delta(1) 22-10 came back to his form last start and I expect him to win. Sweet Trial(2) 11-1 I like for the places, either than that its open with a few first timers being backed. My top selection ran behind Yamoto 4 runs back and on that run he will put this field to sleep. He is consistent & since taking off tongue tie its been a solid performance.

Race 2: White Winter(1) 18-10 Look at this horses 2 runs back formline, he ran 2nd behind Alshibaa who in turn came out and won 2nd time out a MR90 by 2.75L. 3rd in that race was a horse called Full Of Attitude, he won by 6.60L. 4th and 5th place horses both came out and ran 2nd next start. Even the 7th horse came out and ran 2nd. So in all it just shows you the strength White Winter ran in and what ability he has. A lot of first timers here so keep an eye on the betting. I expect a better run from Kitty Coo(6) 18-1 she also been running to good sorts in the past so keep an eye for places along with Colombina(3) 13-1. White Winter is one of my better bets of the day

Race 3: Carmalita(1) 15-10 She must now surely win, she has been game but always finds someone to beat her. 2 runs back she ran 3rd to Fly North and the 2nd horse is my top selection in the 2nd race White Winter. If she wins it will boost this ones formline, so keep an eye on the race. I like the breeding of Fort Vodka(12) 13-1, she can be anything, Lunar Dancer(3) 8-1 is improving along with Forgimme(2) 11-2

Race 4: Burundi Bush(1) 15-1 I like her today as my outsider for the day . 4.5kg better off with Bally Swiss(6) 5-1, so should be there at the finish. This is a apprentice race so they go fast which will suit my top selection to the ground. Another roughie I expect in the places is Queen At War(13) 22-1, she ran behind Goodness Me(9) 9-1 and is 3.5kg better off for a 3L beating so can turn the tables. He is 3.5kg better off with the favourite An Air Of Success(2) 7-2 for a 2.75L beating so can reverse the tables. St John Gray has been off form but will bounce back today.

Race 5: Open Race, I like 2 roughies here Snow In Seattle(9) 15-1 & Lauren Of Rochelle(13) 15-1 LOR 2 runs back has the beating of Sky High Flyer(5) 33-10 as he is 4kg better off for a 1.35L beating. Snow In Seattle has beaten LOR before and vice versa, I just don’t like the favourite today. Gun Fighter(4) 15-2 is another I like just not too sure about this appie that’s riding him. All in all a very open & difficult race.

Race 6: Raydaveric(1) 18-10 Guys this is a strong bet, he will win. Look at his last run coming back from a rest. 1450m is too short but he would have won if he was not baulked at a crucial stage. He basically was taken out of the race. BIG BIG BIG RUNNER. The two three year olds have a lot to do at the weights but are improving, my 2nd selection is Orson(4) 15-2 he is game front runner which will suit my top selection, but it’s the way he stays on at the finish.

Race 7: Just Cruised In(1) 16-10 2nd un after a rest, his first run after a rest was promising, it was too short + he gets in form Dennis Swartz 2,5kg claim. A horse called Resolute Captain on the last run that ran 5th and Resolute Captain came out and won next start. Samar(5) 15-2 is my 2nd selection getting the 4kg claim carrying only 48kg, he will make the exactas pay with my top selection. He ran 7th two starts back to Hieronymus carrying 52kg, Oracle Of Delphi(4) 33-10 ran 5th 3.5L back, but Samar is 4kg better at the weights

Race 8: Shortstop(13) 11-2 He is a Big runnwe here, his only bad run was 2 starts back where is was reported to be striding short. He has dropped in the ratings and has a good inside draw. El Bombero(2) 11-2 who is 3kg worse off with my top selection on the Captain Chips run for a 1.85L beating will be involved in the placings and is back to his favourite trip. Thewaywemakem(3) 15-2 I also like for the places, along with Time To Be Great(9) 7-1 and the Favourtite Neuf De Pape(5) 3-1

Race 9: Vulcan(3) 11-1 Now this horse I have as my BEST VALUE ON THE CARD, dropped 2 points, has Lerena up, back to best distance and has a good inside draw. Everything in his favour. A strong front runner and should keep rolling. Don’t like Sleepinseattle(6) 11-2 as the hadicappers I think have got to him. Blue Diamond Road( 4-1 is consistent along with Tokyo Drift(2) 15-2 the trip of 1200m was too short, now back to his best distance. Refuge(14) 9-1 is starting to drop to a competitive mark a full 19 points drop since July this year, and I rate him as bit of a danger.

Race 10: Nordic Rebel(2) 5-1 3rd run after rest/gelding. Last run moved up strongly then just ran out of puff to finish 3rd. Has a good draw + Lerena rides and has dropped 8 points since July. Slight concern is the 1400m. Sovereign Reign(12) 9-1 has dropped a full 19 points since September and I rate this a danger to my top selection. He is a blinker strike today. Gasoline(3) 11-2 is a bit inconsistent but has a good draw, Chili Lime(11) 15-2 has the worst draw, if he can get over he can make his presence felt

Race 2 white winter..i know its the horse to beat..but keeps getting beat...im going with summer spin...doesnt have to be too special to beat this field...and Paul peter stable is in form...5/2 good bet

Get's a good rider, has everything here bar Double Mink stone cold on MR . Must say though that Double Mink looks a little special off that last win , squeezed out at the start and still won by a length. It's easier to beat a poor field with a heavy weight than to beat a strong field with a light weight. Even with the claim would be out against Double Mink on MR - . This is a tough call it's Just Cruised In or Double Mink.

"on MR" Double Mink should be receiving 4.5kilos from JCI he's only getting 2kilos cos of the claim

Running Fury 5/2

Running Fury looks to be coming to hand last running 4th 4.00 lengths to The Puma.Hard Ball and Visigoth were 2nd and 3rd and those two could have easily featured here
The only negative is the soft going but at 5/2 to run in the first four i have taken the chance.Good trainer/jockey combo

I like Striker's mount in the last, looks well-in here, nicely drawn and should enjoy the soft ground
