Based on all the rain in Gauteng this week will this meeting go ahead or be abandoned?

Really hoping it will go ahead. Been fairly dry today with rain expected later and not much rain predicted tomorrow.
Gets frustrating when the right races come along and keep getting abandoned.

Have Raydaverik running, must have a chance in this field, just unsure how good the 3 year old's are.

Let's hope we get some racing:
Race 1: Very weak raced competitors - likely to be one of the first timers. I have a leaning to Agent Kay - but best watch the betting.
Race 2: White Winter looks to be acclimatising now, and we could start to see the benefit of that natal form, is now well performed at this track and distance. I like this one to win - but I have a dilemma, in that I have also earmarked the Peter first timer - Summer Spin. WHITE WINTER but take a lead from the betting on this one.
Race 3: Carmalita is due a win now , about 2 lengths above the median , close up runs to Mohalella, Fly North - 100% in the money at the track, the distance, the distance category, the surface, she has everything in her favour and would be a hopeless case if she cannot win here. CARMALITA watch the market around the R1,000,000 Tarry first timer since it could just be more than useful.
Race 4: Off the Celtic lady form, Goodness Me was slow away that day and running on late, Prosperity having a defeat of Celtic Lady under the belt could get the best of that form. There really isn't much standing out along that line though - so I have to be interested in Angel Of Light - the last attempt at this trip was not a disaster and runs under a light weight tomorrow - has to be respected at this class- boasting a 2.8 length victory over Last Girl Standing, and after guiding Mbali home - I have taken a liking to the pilot. I really don't know what to male of the two sham runners, will just have to take some time to get a handle on the PE form. ANGEL OF LIGHT
Race 5: August Duke, Lauren Of Rochelle are on peak runs as is Master Boulder - Master Boulder impressed when challenging Nation Builder after losing a length - that was at 1400m and running close up to cannes lto suggests he is fit and well. Peter off the same race has Gun Fighter in tip top shape and he has earned against stronger - beating the likes of Vincente. This is a tough race and i am giving the nod to MASTER BOULDER purely on condition - but Gun Fighter and Lauren Of Rochelle are going to be tough here as well, along with August Duke and Snow In Seattle, for good measure include Dorman as well.
Race 6: Another difficult call -- Looks a contest between de Kock and Tarry I would give the edge to FORAFEWDOLLARSMORE but cannot discount KREMLIN JUDGMENT , Twice a dancer must also be in this contest.
Race 7: UPOSEUPAY has the best form of the average field. Tiger Jet is on a peak run and could repeat the Twice A Dancer Run. Just Cruised in however sets the benchmark off run to Hyaku and should cope with the weight, claim will help as well.Cosmic Count could challenge. Double Mink looks to have the class - but stiff test today. JUST CRUISED IN
Too tired to complete this - In any event as I look at the highlighted names on the page, nothing looks convincing.
After today - recorded 3/5 to keep close to 50% strike rate - so I would be risking the two solitary wagers on White Winter and Carmalita - The two first timers are live dangers imo, so taking a knock in strike rate could be a real possibility - but that's gonna be my play win or lose ---Will be interested to see what TT comes up wiith the other races -- maybe I can use his info for the races I haven't looked at.

just cruised in should not be in this type of field however with the weight and draw and claims...is it still the right pick?

Get's a good rider, has everything here bar Double Mink stone cold on MR . Must say though that Double Mink looks a little special off that last win , squeezed out at the start and still won by a length. It's easier to beat a poor field with a heavy weight than to beat a strong field with a light weight. Even with the claim would be out against Double Mink on MR - . This is a tough call it's Just Cruised In or Double Mink.

I firmly believe it's gonna be one of the first timers - if that one has the jockey strike -- one ride only, could be the right one.The price tag is interesting , but the gelding mitigated that a little. Solitary ride is usually a strong indicator.
