Easy and OTA - I agree with you although after 10 years I sit with a smile but not allowed to gloat , we have not had it easy trust me , I have been judged so many times it is scary . On Summer Cup day I went to Box 1 before coming to ABC Box , walked in some new people standing there , Hi I am Warren - Who Warren Laird the guy that is always writing on the sites.
Well if that’s the way I want to be remembered , it was not for those reasons.
Thank Goodness fighting is not allowed on the course , many times, certain Trainers and Big wigs would have loved to give me a smack .

The Wheel is turning , Heard big sale coming soon like next week, Someone I know personally and have had a horse with lost R1 Billion over night , and much more , this game tames lions.

But are we allowed to Bloat . Not sure . We should be in mourning . Len Sham has his opinions , we should allow that as much as they should give us a chance to have ours…..

Ill take 5/10 that if Tara took action (as above) her stable would be refilled by proper racing people pretty quickly.

but the longer that does not happen the more harder that becomes.

If things go on as they are then horses run get stakes and IF he still pays then grooms get salaries - Then if there is a Fire Sale in a few months time possibly many of his horses will stay in the stables under new ownership like the Van Vuuren lot - It did not take one day for this mess to happen and I think we should not try to sort it out in one day - Remember we go onto January and school fees must be paid etc - Knee jerk reactions can cause more harm than good - More facts need to emerge so the extent of his liability is known -

sad that its only ABC left now (i personally like ABC some of my mates don't but I'm ok)

the other sites were shut down
lively hoods threatened
the other site does not even have the story there yet

BUT i suppose the story is so old that we all know and knew about the emperors new clothes even before hans christian anderson told us.

True nobody gloating . Very sad , especially Gogo Dlamini who has no idea what has happened to her pension.

i disagree completely. there are clearly many other families not having xmas because of this. investors up and down the country.

the longer this takes
1: the easier the "covering"and continuing unfolds remember there are a lot of special friendships here.
2: the less likely we will ever support anyone associated with them

its needs to be CUT NOW let them turn on each other lets get ALL THE FILTH out. lets get a few state witnesses lets bring the whole lot down.

Mr Hawaii

My daddy was a policeman in Goa. Sometimes when a crime happened and they never had a lead they would do the following....

Lets say there was a robbery of 10 000

The police would in their story to the press say:

We are still investigating the robbery. Its the largest in a long time and the 50 000 stolen will be found.

The 4 crooks who also read the paper would then wonder why they only got 2500 each as it was supposed to be a fair split and CLEARLY the newspaper / police have the right amount.

yes investors - but I doubt if any funds had all their eggs in one basket - would you say that ackemans should close because his group owned it - just give it time - Unless he is innocent of charges he ill be gone from racing - now why do we need to get him out in one day? what are we achieving? What about feeding all his horses if we just kick him out - who will pay for that and why should they suffer -

and this is war and the longer they have to prepare the more they get away with.

facts are a company has dropped an absurd amount in value and its ceo has resigned the rest is going to happen in the future but for now there is enough to save some people and horses
