I have Whisky Baron beating Legal Eagle by 1.5 lengths? Thats why Legal Eagle is behind Whisky Baron

Unless you mean only in the cape then yes but remember Deo Juvente beat him.

The eagle has beaten stonehenge and french navy over 2000m. There is no doubt about his ability.....the actual conditions of a race will also contribute to performances.....the fact that he ran second on both occassions...once behind whisky baron...suggests these were more about the race conditions than the horses ability.

Maybe you are right....maybe he is not best suited to that track....the future will be the judge.
