7/1 on Abashiri is a massive price IMO. Not a strong field and if anywhere near his 3 year old form will walk the race.

Backed social order @ 66/1 before his flop on the inside course, thought it was a no hoper until he showed his true ability in the charity mile. along with him I have French Navy @ 15's and Abashiri @ 8's. Happy with mine and I doubt I'll add anything.

Poor field for that stake. The bottom line is that this is Gautengs top of the A division race. The absence of WC runners is a real shame.
