R3 Favourite is the De Kock 3yo Jazaalah obvious winning chance but the price is 8/10 so value is debateable,Finding a few negatives around the pair (Western Shamrock's sibling is the notorious Var Ahead)

Some support for debutante Kindavar and her dam Without Malice (Jet Master) only won over 1400m-1600m

The Queen Gene can earn if the stable has her ready

Pasqualina's siblings were Mambo Italiano and Bagger Vance and her dam won twice over 1200m in GB

Does anyone know the reason behind the name Emma Kalema (CurvedBall- Narrate ) YG,muthi?

I think tomorrow the De Kock side show will continue to roll with all of Flexible Fugitive (Shorter Distance - suit respiratory issues - only danger Peter Runner ouro) Jazaalah, Mutawaary, Marmook and crew all big runners.

Like to see how Bondiblu goes against Amsterdam and Let It Rain Wind Chill short price and Marcus only runner- primed to perfection, Interesting Contest between Twice A dancer and Seventh Of June , will be watching Cals Crush, King Of The world primed, Watching Murray on Silver Duchess against Martha's Vineyard with interest, also keeping an eye on Trip to Troy, Kings King and Aquaboy.

With all the short favourites, the card didn't interest me enough to do detailed summaries - or take any bets - Unless one of the De Kock runners start at decent odds.

Murray fell off at Fairview Adams ,hurt his knee

My place fancy in the eight is Monarch Air who is well drawn, distance suited and has De Melo in the irons
Can win but plenty with chances

R1 Seventh Son last run impressed me, theoretically drawn on the wrong side albeit pretty exposed but Strydom stays on and I think will go very close.

R2 Wind Chill followed by Samar.

R3 Almost had a good bet on Jazaalah at around evens but when looking further I make it trickier then I initially thought. Would not surprise me to see J get rolled. Dangers Kindavar, western shamrock etc.

R4 Mutawaary if not for the draw, thus one has to respect money lto on Corrido. Those two should be good enough for the pa. The falls road maybe place.

R5 My best value for the day. Brian Wiid yard coming right slowly and the drop in class will suit Lee's Pick. 4.5kg better off with Zeal and Zest for a 0.30 beating a couple months back and with the upward trend of the yard I think at 9's and 14/10 a top 4 is a cracking price.

R6 Bono and Marmook deservedly top the boards imo and I make it between them to win it. If Binda's horse in the first runs well then it may be worth including Manx Park.

R7 Wow take your pick. If ever you need the field in exotics this is it. Can make cases for many. Ilitshe if fit and well will be my pick, but too many question marks. 1,2,5,7,9,14 all make further appeal.

R8 Agree with earlier sentiments that Monarch Air may be the value in a wide open race. This horse is well overdue another win and is hopefully rewarded for consistency, Martha's Vineyard would also not surprise me if following up.

R9 The bad news is that to finish it doesn't get any easier. Jackman would be the natural first pick (Strydom open and close the meeting?) but 4 points for the last win may make it trickier. Kings King down near the bottom of the weights makes some e/w appeal. I remember an interview not so long back with Woodruff saying he's starting to come along the right way and hasn't really disgraced himself and tumbled in the ratings. At the weights I definitely think has a bit of an e/w chance.

All the best guys play well.

2nd and 3rd races look straight- forward, the rest not easy .... thoughts :

R1: Imo Seventh Son will win this on his last run

R4: Corrido again being backed, could win of course, but if he fails again, Mutawaary is overdue and with Gambado are the obvious two to benefit; Dancing Rebel is having his 42nd start - still should earn some place money again

R5: I have been preaching Star Path for a while, and I'm giving him his last chance today - will love the long straight, rating has come down and with Delpech now riding from pole position , he is not going to have any excuses. I make the danger Seventh of June, who also has a nice draw and will make them run; others with obvious chances are Zeal and Zest (more to do ?), Lee's Pick (not too genuine?) and Crazy Vision (trip ?) with Yer-maan looking big value at 33s

R6: Competitive sprint; I fancy a bit of Wellspring - gets the blinkers again today and imo will be right there at attractive odds; Bono, Marmook and the filly Cal's Crush the obvious ones - but not too many that can be totally ignored

R7: Nightmare - my top 5 in no particular order are Amsterdam, Save the Rhino, Sheet Weaver, The Elmo Effect and Bondiblu

R8: Martha's Vineyard won nicely last time and could easily follow up against these; Striker stick with Chapati who could prove the main danger while Shine Bright has a nice draw so should run into the top 4 imo

R9: Not an easy close; obvious ones for the PA are Blue Diamond Road, Jackman and Sleepinseattle; I also think King's King at these weights could be the roughie to upset

Enjoy B)
