RACE1: Hard Ball looks the obvious contender, Red Indy recommends strongly on runs behind Sir David Baird and Devil's Peak, however I am going to take a shot in the dark here and go with Short and Sweet.
Race 2: Sweet Trial cannot be faulted on placement, Vanuatu has had two siters and should be asked the question now - Seven Sovereigns caannot be recommended due to it's habit of losing lengths at the start - but if getting a clean break, that could be race over. Raise a Flag and Toby Coates also in with a shout.
Race 3: Flying Falcon looks the best of another weak bunch with Kutamba just behind. While Fuyu should improve Western Shamrock could be the improver here that wins.
Race 4: Quite a difficult race - Mutawaary is certainly very classy if he's been racing over the wrong trip all this time and wracked up the performances he has. Sess is very promosing, and before noon should show improvement. Then we don't know what to make of the infamous Tapanzee, coupled with Sess. This does look like a race between Sess and Mutawaary though. Let's watch the market on Mutawaary, although it wouldn't surprise me if Tapanzee was to upstage
his stablemate here.
Race 1: Short And Sweet
Race 2: Vanautu
Race 3: Western Shamrock
Race 4: Sess
Once again, the need for sleep cut's my efforts short - this time though not a lot of confidence around anything selected.

R1 Corrido 11
Paul Peter's comes from a family of multiple winners and should come home lonely .The bird has flown wrt price
I also like Lucky's newcomer Sucha Charmer and has Yeni
Former Azzie runner Matchmaker has good potential but comes off a year break and is drawn worst but will watch for future
Short And Sweet shown glimpses of form but more a place contender
Red Indy and Hardball's form is there for all but the newcomers get 2 kg

I won't be taking a bet today - didn't have adequate time to prepare - perhaps the bombs are landing today anyway.

@ just another tipster ok i can live with that
R2
Vanuata get a tt and could place
Singaswewin has not been disgraced in handicap races
R3
Cannot see past Western Shamrock but worried for the hot Dawson stable as i've never punted a winner for ages.Theres only 3 places on offer and they mostly weaker and a tad unreliable
R4
Better distance for Mutawaary. Half brother to an Aussie one Mutin and only win over 1900m
Win!
R5
Banner Hill
R6
Small place for Highlander
R7
Timedtoperfection wins

Thought 18/10 was a fair price about Hard Ball. Beaten by a fair sort in The Puma lto and looks overdue now. Hoping the first timer isn't too good, hard ball should be winning this.. Also drawn favourably.
Western Shamrock another one I thought made an encouraging debut and seemed to run on at the end. Comments seem upbeat and should be a live contender in this field, again another first timer seems the danger.
Also will nibble at Ideal Secret. If he gets the trip then he should be very competitive here. Ran behind what seems like an above average horse in Big Bear lto.
