Mr.Goodman absolutely not disrespect intended, but why run a horse over it's wrong distance and on a surface that you felt it wouldn't handle well?Do you battle to find races for this horse?

If you saw USO i thought the 1200 would be on the sharp side and if you listened to the interbet podcast i clearly said the poly would probably be her undoing. She ran great and Marcus did his best. Who is the new JCL called Gladiator! This horsesht does not deserve to be posted Bob

hold on a second. Is horse racing not all about opinions? You have yours and I am sure people respect it. You have all the right, just like anyone else, to disagree with somebody else but to have a go at somebody because he does not see it your way is uncalled for.

durbs the race was originally planned to be on grass and not poly plus the horse had a top draw and it was the corrcet field for it to be very competitive in ..furthermore racing is on the poly at greyville bar one or 2 grass meetings for the next 2 months until scotsville comes back ..the program for november is not out yet plus you can nominate for other races around the turn and draw 100 out of a100 every time so mr goodman had every right to run his horse on sunday ...if you thinks it so easy to find the right race and draw over the right surface at the right track every time take out your license

Exactly Hilton. No Races on grass for who knows how long so took my chance from plum draw but expressed my reservations for ALL to hear. Sad when a rider of Marcus' caliber gets blamed.

I actually thought this was a forum to discuss races, thoughts and opinions openly. However after reading this I certainly think its not the forum to address thoughts and opinions freely. Everybody seems waiting to take a bite of you??? It's not a case of sour grapes, it was just an observation I made overall of our favorite jockeys form of late. Which is why I said I didn't know what to make of it when I started the thread. I became Marcus Fan after the ride on Jay Peg, Never seen anything like that before Titch :) Perhaps maybe I expect to much of the man... but once again, it was just an observation which I did a temp check with the rest of the clan and seem to have got burned as if I was attacking their hero! Come on guys, no need to get aggro. And Mr Good, not of all us can Eat, Sleep and Drink racing which is why we cannot watch every podcast or tv show which is why I never latched onto your comments. Anyways Mr Good, I've been a supporter of your runners since the days Tailormade passed through your hands and for the record, I got out on Sunday with taking a fixed place on RAM TRIP in the last :woohoo: So please, lets not be this guy  and respect each others opinions or observations and contribute constructively.

Like you took a bite out of Marcus, your posts remind me of another banned member who liked to attack members of the racing community

I asked a question Bob, to see if it was only me. Didn't use any vile words, or uncalled for abbreviations. I just felt that I haven't seen the same zest of late. Apologies if I did come across the wrong way but obviously my intentions were not malicious.

All good, I'm not. As CNC described, its okay to disagree. Just don't shoot a person down for having an opinion.
