Didn't run because its MR was too high, a couple poor runs could bring that rating right down so I'll be watching from the sidelines :whistle: :lol:

This horse was clearly not trying and Strikers comments confirm this. Azzie clearly used this as a training gallop and to get the handicapper to drop the rating. Pity the poor fools that had a bet before this emerged.

.....still maintain the horse was ridden all wrong.....no one learned a damn thing from that run....even less the poor horse.....it has never in its short career seen so much daylight racing without any cover..... :S

I see the horse spead a shoe in running and was not persevered with

HAT PUNTANO (ARG) (P Strydom) took an awkward stride at the 600m, thereafter Jockey Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with this colt in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine HAT PUNTANO (ARG).
Trainer M Azzie was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables.
HAT PUNTANO (ARG) spread its right front shoe in running.

The winner cast a shoe in running

.....yeah that's what could happen when you corner wide on the inside track.....saw clearly that the horse faltered twice on the bend..... :oops:
