"Group" RESULTS - 'Sunday' 22nd June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows...

The 1st runner we wanted 2.2 and with being around 2.36 on arrival and only getting bigger and bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave........

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.7 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 1.6 max. The price then went for a walk the other way and out to our own price of 1.8 and higher, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The meeting was then abandoned due to high wins, so monies back and on to the next runner...

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.1, but a non runner and 9% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.0. The price was that and a bit shorter on arrival and so we had a lay at 2.0 max. The lay came in 2nd and so a good result.......

The 4th runner was a non runner due to the abandonment of Hexham, so on to the next runner...

The 5th runner we wanted 2.0, but a non runner and 6.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.94. There was then another non runner and further 26.4% reduction, so now we wanted a lay price of 1.69. The price was around 1.46 on arrival and so we had a lay at around 1.46. The lay went and won, despite a late scare, so the way it goes...

The 6th runner was a non runner due to the abandonment of Hexham, so on to the next runner......

The 7th runner had been withdrawn and so on to the next runner....

The 8th runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 2.1 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave.......

The 9th runner was a non runner due to the abandonment of Hexham, so on to the next runner..

The 10th and final runner we wanted 3.0 and with being around 2.8 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.8 max. The lay went and won after looking in trouble and getting it in a close finish, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it...

WELL PLAYED..........(4 from the 5 (80%) went and won in total (5 Nr's) so very tough and well played to get the money)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 0.19 of a target.............They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner) and ended up winning 0.19 of a target after their 3rd and final lay (the 10th runner)...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 2.0 max and a good result see 4 runner builders hit their targets........

5 runner builders needed a little more and went to their 2nd lay (the 5th runner) at 1.46, but a poor result see them give a tiny bit back............They then had their 3rd lay (the 10th runner) at 2.8 max and a poor result see them give another bit back and they ended the session winning 0.19 of a target...

'Traders' had to concede a little on the 5th runner at 1.46 max, but the others see them win or break level and so they end around levels for the day which is a good result with all those winners..

So winners and non runners galore, but we got a target or a little win and that's a very good effort. Well played guys and speak in the morning..

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 10.27am.

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. Never easy and this session no exception to that, but we do have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon...
