Alston Naidoo

This guy is like a robot in the studio. Last night at the end of Pontefract racing, he gave the JP payout, then told viewers that P/A payouts were not available. There was no PA only bipot. Suerly he could have given the bipot tickets alive after the last race. He was in hurry to say good bye. Really poor show. he should at least take interest in the exotics as the races progress.

The problem is he knows nothing about racing , there should be some training provided which is obviously not and he is proof of that , gold circle really should hang there heads in shame at his appointment

Surely this was a Phumelela / Tellytrack appointment. Just because the guy may be of Indian descent does not mean that he comes from Durban lmfao

Give the lad a break. He is a bright prospect and a great tipster.

Alston is very competent. Errors are few and far between and he can surely be afforded the benefit of the doubt with regard to his blunder relating to the first post. As far as "robotic" is concerned, agree that he can ease up a bit, don't think "anybody should be hanging their heads in shame". I also don't know that "he knows nothing about racing" Is this an opinion?

My post was not about his tipping abilities. He is a very good tipster, always gets stable info. However the studio job is different. Viewers have taken bets, they need the information which the presenter has in front of him. He needs to be more impromptu and less mechanical.

That was my opinion but let me put forward some FACTS
1) Alston thinks 2nd should object against 3rd
2) Alston questions why MIKE DE KOCK enters a horse in a certain race
Let me rather leave it at that
