Looking at the rules on the WSB Site:
Postponed races
If a race is postponed to another day and overnight declarations stand then bets stand. However, single bets on horse racing will be made void and any selection involved in accumulative bets will be treated as a Non-Runner if:
- The race is abandoned.
- The race is officially declared void.
- The conditions of the race are altered after bets are made - The venue is altered.
Does the venue is altered not mean the track? or is Greyville just Greyville and not Turf or Poly.
Its like moving Vaal Turf to the Sand.

So whoever did null and void would have had no further access to changes for the entire meeting so once again it comes back to Betdata
I do no claim to understand any of this, (and I certainly don't want to waste my time and energy researching this issue) but .....
Imo whether 'Betdata' (or whoever) is responsible for 'sending fields .... and all claims', is beside the point - 'Betdata' imo has nothing to do with the way a bookmaking company settles it bets?
Now it seems like there is a difference in the rules depending on which province the betting company is registered in .... if that is so, then the betting company should abide by the rules of the 'provincial' Gambling Board, and sure the 'provincial' Gambling Boards's rules should be governed by the National Gambling Boards rules.
If a betting company is allowed (by the applicable rules as determined by the applicable Gambling Board) to institute it's own rules, then it follows that that they should abide by these rules (and I don't believe these could then be changed at the drop of a hat by posting a message on the site)
So, even if WSB is permitted to institute it's own rules, as posted by Zelig, these have been changed when it suited them. Imo WSB is clearly in the wrong here (and I'm not even talking about 'morally wrong') by not cancelling the bets when the racing surface was changed

That is the problem with wsb – they don’t abide by the rules of the gambling board and they change rules “at the drop of a hat” as it suites them.
I had a test cricket draw bet voided by them (the same bet was paid out by Hollywood, Betting World and interbet) .
I asked for an explanation and their answer was thus:
The match was then declared a DRAW, match rained out. Our rules states that
" THE RESULTS OF A MATCH IS A TIE WHEN THE SCORES ARE EQUAL AT THE
CONCLUSION OF PLAY, BUT ONLY IF THE SIDE BETTING LAST HAS COMPLETED ITS INNINGS ( ie ALL INNINGS ARE COMPLETED)
What this gobbledygook answer has to do with a rule about cricket test matches I still don’t know
I took it up with the gambling board, and guess what?
Ms shirley told me I should have read their rules (?) and found in wsb’s favour and paul potgieter will still “revert” to me - it is now nearly two years
All of this would still be palatable if there was any proof that they voided the bets on the two win options as well – but I don’t think so
.
Does anybody know if there is a higher authority to lodge a complaint to?

The GGB regards bookmakers and horse racing as something similar to a distraction. . Why, you may ask? Because the revenue derived by the Gauteng Provincial Government through the GGB from bookmakers and horse racing is negligible. It is less than 5% of the total annual revenue received by the GGB from gambling. Paul Potgieter has been working for the GGB since day one. Because the revenue stream from bookmakers and horse racing is small, not many in the GGB are interested in or have sufficient knowledge to get involved. He does very well for himself. There are few people in his department. He is not sufficiently supervised. You are not alone with your complaints. The GGB is full of people like him. He knows the bookmaker and Phumelela people quite well.
