GREYVILLE - Sunday

Competitive race card where the banker looks to be Breakfast Club and the value wagers Ice Emperor and Humidor.
Speed ratings for the main contenders –
Race 1
85…Ice Emperor
84…Blackball
84…St. Peter’s Bay
84…Queens Bridge
84…Le Cheik
83…Full Count
81…Roy Had Enough
81…Ratso Rizzo
Very closely rated with only 2 lengths covering the top 8 contenders. Can expect a reasonable pace and for Ice Emperor to overcome a poor start and finish off well followed by St.Peter’s Bay – good quartet possibilities.
Race 2
81…Fonteyn
76…Movinglikeawinner
76…Rapunzel
75…Flichity by Farr
74…Doctors Answers
72…Celestial Gold
69…Ambercrombie
??…Later’s Baby
Fonteyn has the credentials to be successful in this moderate field – PA banker
Race 5
109…Humidor
106…Captain Chaos
106…Vine Street Star
103…Out My Way
The Gauteng raiders add further interest to this tricky race
Race 6
96…Bengal Boy
96…Go with Flow
93…Eddie Sweat
93…Royal Security Power
89…De Nimes
Whilst there looks to be much expectancy around La Ferrari and Cathedral County the event appears open.
Race 7
111…Last Tiger
109…Never Settle
Also open yet the above 2 top rated will do fine…at least in the PA.
Race 8
104…Breakfast Club
102…Sarah’s Secret
.96…Roy’s Secret
.96…Archilles
.95…Mumsy’s Jet
Breakfast Club looks too classy here.

We can't seriously be racing at greyville today. The weather has been shocking for the last 48 hours and still continues to belt down with rain, wind is roaring too

I live up the road from Greyville and it is pouring with rain.
I cannot see this meeting going ahead as our jockeys will not race in this weather for safety reasons.

Race 6: De Nimes, I really fancy this horse chances, 5th run a after a rest and was a beaten favourite last run. Prefers the 1000m and with a jockey like Smanga Khumalo, will surely do some magic.
Race 7: A mate of mine said, Kind Django is the one to beat, so be it.
Some really generous odds on the double 75/1
