I'm going with Elmo Effect to be the 2017 Smanjemanje. Just need to bag the Jubilee...

Nice listening to Justin last night. He made a case for Elusive Silvas below par run and warned not to write this off for the big one . Black Arthurs comments was interesting . He seemed very excited here and when seeing him work in the mornings was hoping the july would be run within days. This tells me that the gelding must be showing them excellent work and I see now 10 s in betting. Justin said that Delpech had not committed yet so lets see if Black Arthur has impressed him enough to secure the ride for the big one .

Didn't watch the show yet, but glad to hear that Justin says that that was not Elusive Silver's true ability. I am still waiting for Delpach's choice of ride for the July.

Delpech has been declared to ride Bela Bela in the Gold Challenge and Black Arthur in the Cup Trial (seemingly deserting Elusive Silva) - this could prove significant, as BA will have to win this to get into the July - seeing that on the current log he is not in the top 25

Black Arthur isn't on the log, and about 12 of the 14 semi/guaranteed places look to be taken. How is this horse even in the betting? Last 3 runs were 5th/9, 7th/8 and 10th/14 just behind Baritone who also can't get in.

Elusive Silva got 2kgs and a beating from Mr Winsome in 3rd all behind Ten Gun Salute in the BW1900, so how does that get in?

Ten Gun was 100 and Elusive Silva 99, Ten Gun is 106 and Elusive still 99. You have to say that 3kgs is just punishing for a golden ticket to get in, wow.

What about Al Saheem? Or as it was pointed out to me before if any Slack horse gets in will Delpech have to ride that first? My money is on Big Al if he comes through the Daily News well(he does not even have to win - Remember Pomodoro did not win the DN) then I think Delpech will be glued to his saddle for the July.

Mini Tycoon, the number of automatic entries have reduced significantly with all of Whisky Baron, Legal Eagle, Deo Juvente and Heavenly Blue not taking part in the July.

How is he even in the betting? Have you forgotten what this horse did in the Guineas last year? Forget his Cape runs - he had big problems. After gelding, his work, reportedly, has been amazing. His first run was just a warm up.

Black Arthur should win the Cup Trial. If AD has left Elusive Silva, then that's very positive.
