Is the in-running market down at the moment?
Haven't been able to get a bet on since the Reds vs Brumbies game

Turffontein Race 6 is now pending (after R7) and I am suddenly showing a negative balance. Anyone else?

Apologies PC. It should have been for a very brief period as we adjusted the % of the scratching for Race 6. Please PM me your account details if you still have any issues.

Just a quick one.
I took a quartet which worked out to 1.66 times. It was a winning bet. I did take the bet on holly wood.
The quat total pool was R3020 and it paid R3020.
Would my payout be R3020 x 1.66 or would I just be paid out 3020 because the pool was 3020?
My understanding is that if u play with the bookies they should pay out 3020 x 1.66
Please advise.

Most, if not all bookies are bound by Pool limits in their Ts&Cs.
Would the tote have paid more then the pool? No, the dividend would have been reduced to only pay the total pool.

Depending on which bookmaker you played your bet with, some bookmakers will only pay you the percentage of the pool won. For example the quartet above if only 50% of the pool was won the most you can collect is R1510 irrespective if you caught it one time. Some will even further go if the pool was carried over in full then then the amount of winning bets taken by the bookmaker will be divided by the Saftote pool to determine a dividend.
T&Cs are a must read for every bookmaker.
