why wasnt nother russia suspended fromthe july betting when mdk stated twice that she will be missing the durban season? she has at first acceptance stage been withdrawn from the july..well done to those bookies who laid her to punters who were on a hiding to nothing

total of 12 horses have been scratched at first acceptance stage ..tom is first supplementary entries at this stage 46 have stood their ground

Many similarities with another thread however the Bookies will still keep the money, maybe this is a mistake they like the punter to make.

So by your definition the Bookmakers that take these bets are fully aware that the horse is not going to run but take the money anyway......... and yet you see no similarities.

As unfair as it is the bookies have played by the rules - they have the right and responsibility to scratch only when a horse is officially scratched - We punters know the risk in ante-post but it still does not make it right...I would think that after Saturday some poor guys would have decided to back her - Perhaps the fairest way to protect punters in a situation like this is for all horses that ran on the weekend to be suspended in betting until after the announcement - That would be fair to punters - A horse may even have won on Saturday but on Sunday morning the vet and trainer decide the horse is injured and cannot run so a day or two grace would show some concern for the punters..
