My point is that the plan for a horse is determined by its owner and trainer. If I want my horse to win the July then we will prep it however we feel right and enter it in the races we feel adequate. I definitely won't run it in a race just because a punter wants to see how it fairs against certain opposition.

Surely an owner has that right

If not for punters(the few that remain) owners and trainers might well be racing for "confetti" - Arrogance amongst the inner circle helps to alienate punters further

Mr H you are so right.

Maybe we should ask why the horse isn't entered... there could be valid reasons.

JC , I don't think any of your arguments make any sense at all. Racing needs transparency and Mr. Azzie is being quite the opposite.

I am a punter but I believe that JC has a valid point and has put it across clearly.

Magi, I disagree. The horse hasn't been out in over a year, we have no idea if it's trained on, no idea of it's ability beyond 1600M, haven't seen any of it's runs.

Mr Azzie will find the right race to prep him......if not, then im sure the panel can discuss not including this horse into the final field. Anything is a possibility, but i reckon he will run a race before the July. We just need a little patience i reckon

It would have been nice with no racing today that all bookies could have opened up early on the whole card with some nice races.
