I do agree with you. But to indirectly imply that a horses connections are being "unfair" to punters by not entering it in a certain race I disagree with.
Maybe we should ask why the horse isn't entered... there could be valid reasons.

i don't expect the horse to run in any race but what i do expect is that if you nominate for the July you show the punter at least part of your hand - Believe me most funding punters(r20) don't have a clue as to who this horse is -We on ABC are more privileged than them and there is no good reason to play games with this horse as the new owners are reputable breeders who have as much interest in the punt as Donald Trump has in Ethics 101.

Mr H, my comments are based on the following statement:

"The Michael Azzie trained dual Grade 1 winner, Hat Puntano (ARG), should have been entered here would have been fair to punters."

I'm sure that if Mr Azzie feels this horse is capable of a good July run he is opting to give the horse the best possible chance and prep, by his opinion, considering all factors like the horses well being etc...

Just my 5c...

this is the reason horse racing is dying slowly but surely, it can't compete with sports.

not only sports betting but sports in general

when last did you hear about Usain Bolt having a prep run , run your best to qualify for finals

for real Madrid and Juventus to get into the champions league final they pushed 100%, did they think their big names and big budgets will guarantee their places in the finals ?

fans love sports because they see THEIR CHAMPIONS trying their best every time

sports team got OWNERS but they make the team feel like they're your team , make you feel proud

most horse owners and trainers don't respect gamblers thinking we're addicts but sport team owners welcome us to the family. example Liverpool you never walk alone.

we feel Liverpool is our team , our boys that make us proud

most horse owners the opposite, its their horse , their information and they don't need us

sports owners welcome us

horses prepping for big races ?

does Ronaldo come to play in the semi finals 50% fit while prepping for the champions league final ? no chance of that happening. Ronaldo is pushing 100% in the game at the home

why can't the same be with horses , why can't trainers first try to win what's in front of them ?

we can't be fans of something that chooses certain days to perform at 100% while prepping the other days

and that folks is why racing is dying and sports is rising

Prince of wales ran on well in last run....40/1 for July seems good value.
Seems like everyone has forgotten about its my turn....could well win this and prove last years 3 year olds were stronger than this years....out to 16/1 in July.

Will place my 2. Pence on these two before Saturday

For me Hat Puntano has already qualified for the July and must run off the higher of his current rating or the rating on his subsequent run.

I agree, how does Betting World not have betting for their brand name race even after the betting is out?

WSB - do they not know the Final field is announced and therefore how can they have the betting with a huge header saying ANTE POST Betting?
They not going to refund if your horse gets scratched? Simple stuff
