Race 2: Mighty Misissippi(4) 2-1 (Has the beating of Cupking(1) on the Ice Ridge run. He is 2kgs better off on a short head beating, so should turn the tables)

Race 7: Tyron's Jet(5) 7-1 (He has the beating of Storm Kitten(3) on their last outing. He was .50 lengths behind but is now 1.5kgs better off. BIG RUNNER)



Value Bets

Race 4: Texican(5) 10-1 (He has the beating of The Money Man(6) on the Ice Ridge formline. He is now a whopping 6kgs better off for a 3 length beating and should turn the tables especially over this extra distance. He was once a MR68 and has dropped 9 points in the ratings)

Race 5: Roy's Sailor( 10-1 (He has the beating of Harry Da Wheels(5) on the Greatfiveeight run. He beat him by 2.75 lenghts and is now a further 1.5kgs better off. Harry Da Wheels has the beating of Roy's Taxi(1). I make him good each way value)

Race 6: Apollo's Gift(6) 12-1 (Guys i make this my BEST VALUE BET OF THE DAY!!!!!!! He has dropped a massive 15 points since Nov which was not long. He has the beating of Cute Lady, Kept Secret, Delicious Damowin & Roy's Power all of which are in the betting market)

Race 8: National Agenda(10) 8-1 (Has the beating of Azernak(3) & Mamselle Al(6) on their last run. Thaler Point(7) is a runner along with Seek The Summit(2). Pretty open but worth a nibble)

im not sure how responsible it is to make a 25/1 a best bet but when we start talking small form differences for the majority of a rather moderate field i rather bring in the big gun who at best should trounce this field by at least four.

Not sure if ive got this right in saying that Quintella will benefit from the good pace the race may provide.She gets the service of a very capable apprentice and comes in with bottom weight.Not saying she is a bet on the nose but the drift could provide an opportunity for better place odds

Can any besides Storm Kitten ,Tyron's Jet and Quintella win? Honstly i dont think so but Simla's jockey trainer stats are good,.

Incidentally she recorded a fractionally slower time then Quintella over shorter in their last runs

7/2 was a fair price this am.

I have Thaler Point in the 8th. She is holding form nicely, and from a good draw has a decent ew chance in a very open race. Has been too far back in last 3, and slightly slow away each time. Hopefully will jump a bit better tonight.
I don't understand why such a late start to the meeting - it is really unkind to grooms and others who start work early to race until 10pm.

Race 2: Looks a boat race between Cupking and Mighty Mississippi.
Race 3: Roy is Slow a likely winner from Eastern Echo and Enchanted Drawing.
