If you guys follow UK jump racing and aren't excited for Thistlecrack v Cue Card, then this is clearly the wrong sport for you :P

I'm going for Thistlecrack to defy all trends and win it :woohoo:

14/10 @ WSB.

cracking racing besides the King George too. will put up more of my fancies tomorrow. Can't wait!

Also on The New One @ Kempton and Min @ leopardstown

Dysios 2.55 Leopardstown 10/1

This horse won this last year and is a great price to repeat .
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

Why does Johnson say Thistlecrack is a novice? (Or have I just had too many grappa's?)

A horse that's not won in that genre prior to the season starting

A novice in National Hunt horse racing is a horse which has not won in a particular type of race prior to the start of the current season. A novice hurdler has not won a hurdle race before the start of the current season, while a novice chaser has not won a steeplechase before the start of the current season.
